  • Thanks for the video ...

For those who think it's bad for the engine , i guess you doesn't know anything about mechanic...

You don't damage an engine like this ...

  • dream..

  • disini masih pake bajaj men, jadi gatau barang beginian :)

  • sound more like normal 4 cyliner engine not v4

  • 名車中の名車!!!貴方が羨ましい。

  • Ya know,I think there is a rather large group of liberal souls whose main mission in life is to troll motorcycle videos on youtube and grumble about how someone revs their motorcycle. It's like 99 out of 100 exhaust sound videos on here has at least one of these.Could you PLEASE SHUT THE HELL UP????? I'm sick of it.Most of the "oh you're gonna blow the damn thing up" cries have no validity at all and even if it does,he/she is not revving the piss out of YOUR motorcycle,so get a life, people!!!!!!!

  • @500erider Well said that man - couldn't have put it better myself (typed whilst blipping the throttle of my open-piped Bonneville next to a convent)

  • @500erider So true. I have been waiting for those very comments on my video where I am (heaven forbid) revving the engine a bit. It was posted for friends who wanted to hear what it sounds like. Disclaimer: No engines were harmed in the making of my video.

  • @500erider

LOL! You took the words right out of my mouth.

Ohhhhhh Revving it from cold bla bla bla diddy bla! STFU! Every bike video on YouTube has an armchair motorcycle mechanic moaning about it.

  • Nice! a real classic and you are a lucky Bar Steward sir!

ignore the PC 'engineers' as we all rev a bike from cold once in a life time and the 140kph wheelies in 2nd gear on my VTR are not good for the engine either!

That - is why we ride guys!

  • Look at the Temp gauge... Its well warmed up, Its reving to about 5-6000RPM.. Hardly red lining... Stunning bike... Would love to see one in the flesh... No chance in Edinburgh I would imagine...

  • 2 stroke?

  • @Hasseta Go wash your mouth with twostroke oil!

  • @Hasseta do you have any idea of what 2 stroke is? and how it sounds?

  • How does this bike compare to the 1994 Honda RC45?

  • They really were oval/elliptical in these road bikes. That's strange. : )

  • Someday I´ll die but on bikers paradise this bike and a the next TZ750R (YZR OW31), RC166, CBX1000, VFR SP2, RGV gamma and a black ZX10R 2007 will be waiting and I´ll be able to ride em freely on paradise isle of man in heaven that no broken bones or any crash will harm...I pray that everyday before sleep, in real life I can´t ride anymore, I have a condition on my left leg -shortened femur and stiff knee- :( -

  • give me not your clothes not your boots but your motorcycle!

  • that sounds lovely, so tight, almost as nice as a rg500

  • ugliest bike ever

  • oval pistons and 8 valves per cyl.......if im not mistaken.

  • @andgate2000 u are correct kind sir

  • you are all fags. none of you know what this bike is so fuck off if this was my bike id be careful with it too.

  • @CharlieRottenCore Mate he's revving it up in neutral, don't worry it's not going to implode if he hits the rev limiter once in a while.

  • @crackerstolemybike I was referring to the people talking shit about the bike.

  • @CharlieRottenCore Oh my bad

  • @crackerstolemybike Unless you are a drag racer and don't care if your engine takes damage because you plan to rebuild it regularly anyhow, it is a terrible idea to rev an engine hard in neutral. It damages the bearings and the engine isn't receiving as much cooling, and heat causes expansion, expansion causes friction, and friction causes sheering. This is why it's a bad idea to buy any ricer from the era when the fast and the furious came to theatres. >.>

  • @hzuiel Treat the engine with CERMA and your worries are far and few between. This ceramic engine treatment can handle 350 000 psi of pressure. Heat can be produced without friction. Somtimes real science interferes with making huge profits.

  • @seapeddler Interesting post, though heat is a byproduct of friction, and in an environment like an IC engine, there MUST be friction for the engine to function. Thats why there is a gap between the size of piston, and cylinder wll, where the piston rings take up the increase in size of the pisons dut to heat build up caused by friction! If there were no friction, we wouldnt need oil to lubricate or cool the engine in the first place, we would all be on two strokes!!

  • @hzuiel yup

  • @hzuiel ... what about pulling the clutch and rev? same thing right? i agree save your engine

  • @hzuiel is blowing smoke. This is only bad for your engine if it's cold. The water pump actually runs faster with higher rpms. There is actually a Lower coefficient of friction when the engine is not in gear. Just don't bounce the thing off the red line and you'll be fine.

  • @willpower101 It's 'higher RPM', not 'RPMS'. Learn it, kids. Revolutions per minutes?

  • @hzuiel Rubbish. It's a terrible idea to rev an engine past 10k rpm in neutral (for high revving engines) due to the fact their is less mechanical tension on the components and this can cause catastrophic engine failure on the over-revs. If you listen, this guy doesn't rev the engine up to the red line, or even past 10k. The oil and water do the cooling and lubrication which circulate around the engine regardless of the bike moving.

  • @hzuiel Even though you cant rebuild a NR750 because they dont make oval piston rings and / or oversized pistons, I agree with you on the reving in neutral, even though fast and the furious came out after the NR. Nice try though

  • @SuperHawkster04 I didn't actually think it was humanly possible to miss a point so badly. I know the pistons in an NR750 are oval, the only way to rebuild one would be to pay for custom machined parts which would cost a small fortune. My point was that unless you intend to be rebuilding your engine on a regular schedule anyway, like a professional racer, it's a bad idea to rev an engine high in neutral. Therefore it would be a bbaaaadddd idea to be banging on an engine in a 75,000 dollar bike

  • @SuperHawkster04 that you don't plan on rebuilding over and over again. Also I did not say that the fast and the furious came out before the NR750. I was saying that the aforementioned principle of not reving an unloaded engine because it's bad for it, is why it's a bad idea to buy any ricer from the era when the fast and the furious came to theatres, because they do that all the time in those movies. Seriously how could you misunderstand me THAT badly? My post was already clear as a bell.

  • @hzuiel Fast and Furious before NR750??? Are you sure!! These bikes were built by HRC, not Honda directly. HRC is an off shoot of Honda, Honda Racing Corporation. These bikes were built in the 1990's, and are still ahead of their time!!

  • vrrrr vrrrrrr vrrrrrr vrrrrrrrr , stupid lol

  • apparently cant rev a motorcycle good. Lol

  • didnt even let it warm up before revving the shit out of it. stupid ass

  • someone should kick that fuck in the nuts.

  • sick bike but need new exhaust

  • 2 or 4 strokes?

  • lots of stupid comments from people who don't know anything about this bike. It's the oval piston Honda, one of the most advanced and expensive bjkes ever built.

  • stupid.....

  • Stop being a sissy and hit the rev limiter!

  • Sounds like a cat crying. Wanna hear a lion roar? Get a Ducati

  • yeah i would rather pass that going 200 on a busa

  • @austinbotter001 yeah! Fuckin' busa is the best!!! yeah!! dumbass.

  • @austinbotter001 yeah! Fuckin' busa is the best!!! yeah!! dumbass. A GSX-1300R is a sports-touring bike.

  • rev it pussy

  • How do people, like, come to own something like this? Or, like, a Desmosedici (sic) or something so rare? Who do you have to know & just how much go-to-hell money do you have to wave in front of somebody to bag one of these things? I thought the only place you could even see an NR750 was in a Japanese museum.

I'll go ahead & say one thing: If you can afford one of these you could probably rev the rings out of it & not sweat the repair bill too awful much.

  • A M A Z I N G

  • co chciałeś przekazać widzowi ukazując ten film???!!!!że potrafisz gazować??honda owszem ładna ale film crap.a pedał to cie zrobił..!

  • sooo sexy:) love that bike

  • With all that rev'n your bike just dropped 20k in value. ;) It's not good rev any bike like that.

  • crap

  • @irooooooo1 sam jestes kurwa crap pedale

  • sick doohan replica arai on the bench

  • @PoesKlap133

You must be joking...there were only 300 of these bikes made!

  • @douro20 Haha i am joking! :D haha

  • @dismal7x lol that comment was hilarious, prolly true, lol.

  • That rev rhythm is the same for when he jerks

  • this engine was the one with an oval shaped combustion chamber correct?

  • @RicerEater1978 yes

  • @EpiDemic117 its a crazy design i wonder why no one else has picked it up, volumetric efficiency has to be perfect on it

  • @RicerEater1978 it is absolutely insane! they used it's design to compete in certain races that restricted engines to a limited displacement and amount of cylinders. So honda tried to do a work around. but the reason why it never got mass produced, is because of the drawbacks in the design it's self. Generally, it isn't as reliable as regular 4cylinder engines alot of the components are custom made. and the piston rings are VERY special, there are actually two pieces per ring.

  • @RicerEater1978 they came up with the oval piston design mostly to compete with 2 strokes back in the day. Since 2 strokes generally have more power per CC. i guess it was lost in history simply because it was WAY ahead of it's time and didn't belong in this time frame, they might make more in the future. but who knows? I wish i had one so i can brag to all the harley riders. (oh you have a vintage aircooled push rod Vtwin? SNORE!! i have a limited production V4 with OVAL FUCKING PISTONS!!"

  • @EpiDemic117 i hope so, i had never heard about anything like that until a couple weeks ago. id take an old harley as well though :p

  • @RicerEater1978 wasnt it oval shaped piston??

  • @stdavross666 well yeah, but the piston has to fit the combustion chamber :p

  • @RicerEater1978 good cover

  • cool bike and all but i came here for the sound... not to hear you repeat the same rev range 20 times dull

  • With an ovalled piston beauty such as this ultra rare NR Honda it should be treated with respect and not reved to the inch of it's life.

Anyone with a very deep pocket can still acquire one of these great machines and like a RC30 it's a cast iron investment.

  • what a fuckin tool, doesnt even know how to rev, id hate to see how he rides

  • most annoying rev yet

  • banke nr750 is the suck bike i can beat it with my rgv 120

  • @MrMickmckenzie no your bullshit 120cc scooter will not beat a race bike built for the track, its not even a motorcycle

  • @MrMickmckenzie ya right. i bet you can't even ride a bicycle.

  • Shit is super expensive, and my sisters 20 dollar blow dryer sounds more bad ass then that shit. Fuckk

  • what the fuck are your doing

  • weed wacker? haha more like vibrator lol dude when you turn older than 15 buy a harley..

  • The whole point of the oval pistons was to circumvent the rules in late seventies world championship that restricted engines to have a maximum of 4 cylinders.

The astonishing fact that almost always remains unnoticed is that by the end of the huge development effort in 1981 the NR500 engine was said to develop ~130hp which at the time was comparable with a 2-stroke engine of the same displacement, and to do so it rhad to rev to almost 19.000rpm, something really remarkable.

  • 4 cylinder , 32 valves

  • The 1992 GSXR 750 had a peak BMEP of 190.8psi compared to the 1992 NR750 at 157.8 psi. Round pistons are better.

The NR 750 made all of 7hp more than the GSXR, but only by reaching peak horsepower 2500 rpm later than the GSXR to make up for the fact that it made 17% less torque.

The NR750 is a testament to human ingenuity and determination in the face of common sense, but it was also a huge waste of time. Oval pistons are a failed concept, an evolutionary offshoot that is rightfully extinct.

  • @ergofobe ease up turbo, the nr engine series was designed in 1979 and was still competitive in the early 90s and the dohc v4 is what all competitive motogp bikes are nowadays.

lets not forget the whole point of racing is to develop technology and while every other manufacturer is busy trying to squeeze 2hp out of outdated engines honda are out there coming up with innovative designs like the nr/vfr/nsr which is what all modern bikes are based on, i dont know about you but id call THAT success.

  • Damn Honda is such an inavator, OVal pistons in the NR500 and the NR750, MotoGP dominating V-5 in the RC211, Hondas kick serious ass!

  • 10 miles on the bike... 100 hours of revving.

  • oval pistons...some say hondas failiure, but its realy impressive and good sounding bike,in this time rare too

  • why is this bike worth so fucking much??? whats so diffrent about it than anyother bike? can it fly or something lol

  • @swat7853

It sold for about 35,000 new. It had 8 valves per cylinder, 2 spark plugs per cylinder, and many other valuable parts like the windshield. It produced about 125 HP and was way ahead of its time. I believe only 700 were produced.

Look it up on google for more info.

  • @Snowy255 $50,000 and only 300 produced

  • @swat7853 it can get airborne, if you have the balls and ride of a cliff. i dont know what after that

  • Hell I think the sob is fucking beautiful and this is the first one that I have ever seen. Hell you guys can hate on it all you want but I bet it would knock your dick in the dirt if you got up the nads to get on it. BUT I DO AGREE ,,the fag reving it is .well ??? a fag .Yall stop fussing over a stupid bike. I swear people will argue over anything these days. The Internet has destroyed us to the point that we love the opportunity to be conveniently bitchy over the slightest thing.

  • Is it strange that this gave me a bonor?

  • Baby, they don't want us to be together! I know we aren't the same species, you don't even have skin, but what we have together is true! They just don't understand true love! I Let's run away together! I know I have another bike, but we both knew it would never last, she's too slow and I'm too fat. But me and you, we're perfect together!

  • @SirTaylorRyan you put way to much time and thought in your comments but made me laugh though good job

  • @SirTaylorRyan fucking legend you took the worlds out of my mouth lol :P

  • rev, rev, rev, rev, rev... want my time back!

  • This was an awesome bike in it's time and it is still awesome today. The reason they stopped being produced was because the DOHC V4 Oval pistoned engine cost so much to make with the technology of that decade. Can we start a petition to bring back the NR750 for production? With today's technology and the NR's character/performance it would be amazing! Throw on some electronic fuel injectors, engine mapped to customer spec, a yoshimura system and some CF body, LET'S MAKE A DESMOCEDICI RIVAL!!!!!

  • Thumbs up if this bike remember GTA SAN ANDREAS! LOL

  • if i lived near you i would slap yo face off. also... try riding the thing.

  • only worth so much becauase of the rarity...but doesnt make them great bikes.

  • only reason its worth so much is the unique engine and limited quantity, otherwise its looks like old shit...

  • yea keep reving it like that for a wile and see what happends

  • @Xxxfindingemo123xxX What happens? The fans turn on?

  • is it 2 stroke??? sounds like this...

  • how much are these worth?

  • @ragingLIAM maybe 60 000 dunno for sure

  • @ragingLIAM there a bike shop down in london that has one for sale and they are asking over 100k for it its on ebay take a look

  • NICE! NEXT YOUR MOM DRIVING?

  • quite an idiot

  • i just came in my pants

  • tanku ittaino eakuri ga sugeee!

  • Designed for one purpose... racing... wonderfully crafted I reckon they lost money making these a digital speed'o back then!!!! not many of them left now I suppose hence the huge price, the NSR125 took its styling

  • wow lamest rev ever very annoying but i like the bike :)

  • @15mroush LOL SURE IS..BUT WHAT DO YOU EXPECT...LOOKS LIKE HE'S IN HOLLAND OR SOMETHING!! LOL..I WAS THINKIN THE SAME THING...BUT YOU KNOW HE TAKES GOOOOD CARE OF THAT BIKE...I WANNA BUY ONE FROM A CORN-BALL LIKE THAT, NOT DUDE FROM GREASE 2...DOING STUNTS AT THE PROM...

  • @BHDread This is in Japan

  • Two rods per piston? Seriously? Point being?

  • @bikeswinegary they wanted V8 charecteristics, but racing regulation did not allow v8s, they took material between two cylinders, and made oval pistons for it, but retained the crankshaft geometry. so technically a 4 cylider. one connecting rod per cylinder won't be enough for the wide pistons.

This info is from a textbook we used for our engineering class written by Willard W. Pulkrabek

  • @bikeswinegary Point being that it would be nigh-on impossible to prevent the wide, oval pistons from gouging their way up and down the bores with only 1 rod. Imagine the strain on the little ends if there was only one per 'spam tin' piston, trying to maintain the correct orientation in each cylinder.

  • Get a life

  • Not sure I like that sound but I definitely appreciate that beauty!

  • One of these sold at a local shop to me in Preston, Uk for around £36,000. Very nice bike.

  • Wow, oval pistons? So in a way it's like a V8? How high revs does it pull? Pretty high, no? : )

  • @winterstellar yes just like a v8 2 rods and plugs per piston 8 valves , not sure on revs but was quite slow compared to rc30 , think honda did it as tech exersise. oval pistons were made by brits many years ago poss 50s or 60s.

  • Sounds sweet. Oval piston? Interesting. Looks fast as hell.

  • dude id quit revin it up hard before you tear it up and put that bitch up for auction

  • ugly bike

  • Thats all very nice but try this next time.

Standing next to your bike, lift your lig over it and plant your backside on it.

Start it, into first gear and ride away.

While standing there revving it may seem fun, you just wait until you ride it, then you will really smile.

  • Ill take a gsxr 750 over that bike any day.

  • test ride please.

  • Yes he's not revving it very high, as I understand it this is one of the ones recently uncrated. It's basically a new bike, I think he can be forgiven for not revving the tits off something that expensive that hasn't even been run in.

  • this bike worth around £50k?

  • @billynightmare I think you could easily double that , They were £38,000 new in 1992 (lol that rhymed) & rare as rocking horse poo flies ...

  • @CiBi1968 £38,000? LMFAO!!! HAHA Over 12months ago there was one for sale in motorcycles unlimited in west London for £105,000..

  • @2781smithy Did you not read what i said ? "They were £38,000 new in 1992" <--- 1992

  • @CiBi1968 I did sorry mate i was mean't to say 38,000 Double it lol Sorry i missed that bit out.

  • Ugliest bike ever

  • I dont get it, blablabla oval cylinders with eight valves mumbojumbo per cylinder. My bet if ANY American car manufacturer and also V-twin bikes or a coupleof two strokes.... we would have a game wouldnt we....?

As my fellow Americans said regarding bikes; two smokes..... four jokes!

As time wented the air and time, few were there to see the importanse regarding the Wankel Rotary NOT invented by Mazda. But who CARES ITS A OVAL ENGINE!

  • rev is like it's diesel ... :P

  • @DarkoZajecar

And the sound is ju....st aston ishing.... oh, jeremy driving some spacecraft-saab with a knife.... or something....

  • what a douche. Could you rev it a few more times. I dont think i heard it!

  • Is this a two stroke?

  • Reving like that is tough on the rods.

  • sick ass bike but he proboly doesent have the balls to ride it

  • maybe a lame rev but bike is hell of rare more money then any one that commented has for sure.

  • @lossy7 It's worth a hell of a lot more than your grammar, that's for sure.

  • one of the ugliest bikes i have ever seen

  • congratulations to the dumbass sitting there revving it out to the exact same rpm every time. Stupid video.

  • ok fucking retard enough reving...

  • OMG!!! Why do people freakin make vids of them revving it, and dont rev very high or at different pitches!!!God damn I want to shoot you. Are you afraid it's gonna be to loud?!?! I wanna hear you flippin thrash it out!

  • u get the awarg for worst gayest rever ever!! congrads no smack urself

  • @Flamorgan 230mph?? i highly doubt it as a recent uk mag was trying to make a big hit 250mph and they had a fairly large turbo on a hyabusa so it had more power than this bike could ever dream of. unless this bike can push out well over 300bhp derestricted then it cant hit 230. I would believe maybe 180-190mph without major work...

  • What i SHIT video.

And what a SHIT and GAY way to rev your bike.

  • @Flamorgan Allright, thanks for your reply.

I'm about to sell my 125cc Single Dax moto and Sell my Yamaha SRX600 after a nasty accident.

New bike will be something like a Honda NTV 650 Revere, or maybe a NT Hawk, both 2-cylinder since I'm in love with 2-cylindres :)

  • This sounds like my '97 VFR750... only much, much awesomer. :)

  • what the fuck is that ???? :OOO

  • Is this a 3 or a 5-cylinder bike? ;)

    Nothing special about it imo

  • Are you a virgin, dude?

  • @LupulMoralist What a strange question.

  • @LupulMoralist HAHAHAHAH Funny comment.

  • @suez0603 heh tx :)

  • @LupulMoralist hes probably gettin more pussy than you with that bike.

  • @ic069 lame.

  • his main bearings will get back at him

  • Its like a robot revving the goddamn thing. I herd the sound at 6000 rpm 15 times already.... time to mix it up a bit.

  • Holy fuck enough already!!!!!!!

  • The sound made my dick move
