Unlike the poster of this video, and many on this thread, I am a real racing fan that will play and finish both. How can you call yourself a racing fan if you only play one of two fantastic racing games. No matter the situation, one will always be better than the other when comparing two different things so why would you deprive yourself from one of the best racing games this generation, so say myself and many reviews, only because you prefer another. By the way, having the max of 8 cars on track is far from definitive. GT5 will have 16 AI/ online players on track at one time with VERY high detail. The NASCAR part of GT5 will include well over 20 cars on track at one time. Compare that to the max 8 cars on track in Forza 3 and tell me how that is 'definitive'.

You are comparing review scores of a full released final game (Forza 3) to the reviews of a demo (GT5:Prologue). Prologe is an 1/8 of what GT5 (full game) will be and the reviewers knew that, thats why the low score you fool. Prologue is basically a demo, and still almost outsold the full Forza 2 game you tard. Prologue has like 70 cars, GT5 will have 950+, thats the reason for the bad Prologue reviews, as it wasnt a full game. Typical biased fanboy remark. Get the facts right.
Is this the same guy that said "We have the green racing line marked on the road that every racing game copies now" Despite the fact that GT3, released 4 years before Forza 1, had a Blue racing line on the license tests. GT4 had it too, also released before Forza 1. I guess they could claim to be inventors of the Green racing line. ive got every gran turismo because there was nothing better at the time, since forza ve been doing the same with that, 1 is a driving sim the other a racing, and the thing i like is even on shit games you can paint your car after you bought, so the whole realism thing gets thrown out.

while i hope gt5 will be even better than forza3, everything i've seen so far points the other way. prologue sucks, the demo sucks even worse... i'm not really inclined to believe they'll magically fix all the 4 years worth of problems i've seen with the gameplay (which is the thing i care the most for) in the last few months before the release.
I have sold my soul to forza a long time ago, but I still paid 500 bucks on a playstation and I have been playing gran turismo since the release of the first one and if it wasnt for that past with gt I probly wouldnt be a fan of either franchise I feel the games have some things in common but all in all they really are different games. Of course newbs to the title would beg to differ but GAMERS know that subtle difference can make a whole new world if done right. They both rock and both faves!

The only thing that makes a gran turismo fan or fanboy feel frustration (for me) is the impression that microsoft gives about the way they make business remembering netscape as the worst case and the easyest to remember and so thinking that just like ie came after netscape, forza came after gran turismo, zune came after ipod, microsoft is doing the same thing, it's not that is one better than the other, is that forza motorsport is a reliable business not game.

I used to love Gran Turismo. I admit it still looks nice and my fave was GT3. However when i played the first Forza i was hooked due to the feel of the cars not the graphics. In Forza 2 that same feel had been improved and now we have Forza 3. I cant wait but even if the graphics are not as good as GT5 i wont care as long as they have improved again on what was and still has the best driving feel to it. I wont flame sony or GT5 because i had many good years playing all those games but i moved on

I've noticed you can only claim 2003's best racing video game about a year before even the FIRST Forza game came out... and it didn't have ANY online play at all. I used to own a PS2, and I would play Burnout more than I would play Gran Turismo, because Gran Turismo had no online play. The fifth is going to be the first Gran Turismo game that will have it. Yeah, Dirt 2 and the new Need for speed will release before GT5, so it would also be a nice choice.. those titles are also on the xbox360 tho. If you are into action games, try some of the Call Of Duty series or Killzone 2. Killzone2 was awarded better graphics than crysis if you are into that (:. Forza 3 is exclusive for xbox360, so keep that in house, as forza 3 also will be a good game.

Now im on my 360 alot more than my PS3 but the fact remains the 360 can only output dolby digital 5.1, the PS3 can output Dolby TrueHD, DTS HD in 7.1. You may say so what but go and listen to the difference. I always knew the time would come when I moved from my 360 to PS3 and this time is nearly here!

Not a fact? Well maybe you sohuld read the news because GT5 was confirmed for this year was at Game Developers Conference 2010, you ignorant. FACT.
Yamauchi said 2 times that GT6 will be based on GT5's graphic and physic engine and it will be improved, he also said that due to the code already written it will take 2-3 years to be developpêd. FACT.
GT5 is the first console game with HEADTRACKING, 8 to 20 megapixel photomode, official wrc nascar supergt licenses etc. FACT.

OMG you fanboys are something else. Just go buy the fucking game. It's really good and the car customization is top notch. It's been confirmed that a NA/Euro release for GT will come this summer. Why wait that long when you can have a substitute until then. Yea I'm buying GT5 on release, but not because I love my PS3, but because i'm a gamer and I play good games. Some of you guys need to get off Sony and PD's jock.

Unlike the poster of this video, and many on this thread, I am a real racing fan that will play and finish both. How can you call yourself a racing fan if you only play one of two fantastic racing games. No matter the situation, one will always be better than the other when comparing two different things so why would you deprive yourself from one of the best racing games this generation, so say myself and many reviews, only because you prefer another. In the end, you are fanboys and a disgrace.

Ok.Forza 3 has 23 unique tracks.With layouts about 100+.
GTPSP(and GT5) 950+ cars, but only about 500+ is really unique.That makes me smile :))))) T10 manipulates with track numbers.PD with car numbers.Both have it's own truth. LOL :)))

By the way, having the max of 8 cars on track is far from definitive. GT5 will have 16 AI/ online players on track at one time with VERY high detail. The NASCAR part of GT5 will include well over 20 cars on track at one time. Compare that to the max 8 cars on track in Forza 3 and tell me how that is 'definitive'.

Anyone can say they have the fastest car, that may be true at the time, but what happens when a couple weeks later the guy down the block comes roaring down the street in a car twice as fast? Your car is no longer the fastest. Compare that reference to Forza 3 and GT5.

You are comparing review scores of a full released final game (Forza 3) to the reviews of a demo (GT5:Prologue). Prologe is an 1/8 of what GT5 (full game) will be and the reviewers knew that, thats why the low score you fool. Prologue is basically a demo, and still almost outsold the full Forza 2 game you tard. Prologue has like 70 cars, GT5 will have 950+, thats the reason for the bad Prologue reviews, as it wasnt a full game. Typical biased fanboy remark. Get the facts right.

Is this the same guy that said "We have the green racing line marked on the road that every racing game copies now" Despite the fact that GT3, released 4 years before Forza 1, had a Blue racing line on the license tests. GT4 had it too, also released before Forza 1. I guess they could claim to be inventors of the Green racing line. Critiscising their competition is one thing, but completely disregarding them is another, its out of order.
He's going to regret everything he said once GT5 is out.

And i guess thats true with T10, they know they cant deliver, so they try to hype the game as much as possile, before it gets destroyed by GT5. I like that this ignores the fact that all the GT footage is replays which are way beyond the graphics of the normal game.
In game GT actually looks worse in game then forza (the cars detail is about the same, but the tracks in GT are nowhere near as detailed)
Its cool though, I get where your coming from.

Both games will have their own set of pros and cons, I'm sure GT will lack in some areas and Forza will lack in others. We should just be happy that we have such a great lineup of games arriving soon. :)

ive got every gran turismo because there was nothing better at the time, since forza ve been doing the same with that, 1 is a driving sim the other a racing, and the thing i like is even on shit games you can paint your car after you bought, so the whole realism thing gets thrown out.

But Polyphony Digital are the guys making 'quality'' and Turn 10 made 3 games fast which is the 'quantity'.
Don't bring up the No. of cars arguement. GT5 will have all it's cars in very high detail don't you worry =D

I have sold my soul to forza a long time ago, but I still paid 500 bucks on a playstation and I have been playing gran turismo since the release of the first one and if it wasnt for that past with gt I probly wouldnt be a fan of either franchise I feel the games have some things in common but all in all they really are different games. Of course newbs to the title would beg to differ but GAMERS know that subtle difference can make a whole new world if done right. They both rock and both faves!

I see the arguments are continuing lol. Why does it have to be FM3 or GT5 and not buy both. Anyway after watching this numerous times I cannot help but feel Turn 10 have put themselves in a vunerable position. After making statements such as "best graphics, physics", "greatest roster of cars" what happens if GT5 is revealed in Aug or Sep and makes these comments null and void. Like I have been saying elsewhere you shouldn't make such comments until you know what your competitor has!!

The only thing that makes a gran turismo fan or fanboy feel frustration (for me) is the impression that microsoft gives about the way they make business remembering netscape as the worst case and the easyest to remember and so thinking that just like ie came after netscape, forza came after gran turismo, zune came after ipod, microsoft is doing the same thing, it's not that is one better than the other, is that forza motorsport is a reliable business not game.

I used to love Gran Turismo. I admit it still looks nice and my fave was GT3. However when i played the first Forza i was hooked due to the feel of the cars not the graphics. In Forza 2 that same feel had been improved and now we have Forza 3. I cant wait but even if the graphics are not as good as GT5 i wont care as long as they have improved again on what was and still has the best driving feel to it. I wont flame sony or GT5 because i had many good years playing all those games but i moved on

I've noticed you can only claim 2003's best racing video game about a year before even the FIRST Forza game came out... and it didn't have ANY online play at all. I used to own a PS2, and I would play Burnout more than I would play Gran Turismo, because Gran Turismo had no online play. The fifth is going to be the first Gran Turismo game that will have it. Who's to say they won't screw it up? Just look at PGR series on the XBOX... cat and mouse games? No sim player wants it!!!! Now GT5...noone..

Yeah, Dirt 2 and the new Need for speed will release before GT5, so it would also be a nice choice.. those titles are also on the xbox360 tho. If you are into action games, try some of the Call Of Duty series or Killzone 2. Killzone2 was awarded better graphics than crysis if you are into that (:. Forza 3 is exclusive for xbox360, so keep that in house, as forza 3 also will be a good game.

I hate how turn 10 claimed some of the most BULLSHIT things like "Biggest racing game this gen with over 400 cars"(Only to get owned by GT PSP next with twice as many cars) and "Best looking racing game ever(and yet they werent able to outdo the car details in GT5 DEMO,lmfao...did you see their monstrosity Audi r8 head lights ?)..

ninjafukwan7...respect mate. I just want to add that we DON'T HATE Turn10 games, they're impressive, we hate the fact that Greenwalt is being arrogant for no reason. We play Gran Turismo since 1998 and we have never dissed our competitors. Microsoft and its YOUNG players (I'd say immature) are being rude like they want to destroy all the great work made by SCE and PD in all these years. That's a shame

To all those who are making Gt fanboy comments you do realise you're making yourselves look very childish. I will add that I believe sound is as important as graphics. Now im on my 360 alot more than my PS3 but the fact remains the 360 can only output dolby digital 5.1, the PS3 can output Dolby TrueHD, DTS HD in 7.1. You may say so what but go and listen to the difference. I always knew the time would come when I moved from my 360 to PS3 and this time is nearly here!

Forza 2 is the most fun in a racing game i've had in a while, and while I have a PS3 as well, i'm not holding m breath.
GT:HD was a joke, and GT5:P a bigger joke as there wasn't even damage and the then PD charges $40 for a demo? Forza 3, graphically, is a huge step above Forza 2 and even so, Forza 2 looked and ran great.

seriously...grow up, take a chill pill, and when GT5 comes out well see. i dropped GT like a bad habit when Forza came out because GT started boring me, because it turned into a car collection game and Forza offered more, especially in the physics department and online play. i hope PD steps up and gives us a great game, but..will they?

To all those are are complaining about this video I have this to say. Im not a fanboy of either game and will buy both. However you cannot argue with the facts that car manafacturers do offer free licencing, hold 7 Guiness world records, sold over 50 million copies. So instead of moaning why not own both consoles because you would be a fool to miss out on both games.

Both games are great, but their different to each other, and aim to do different things. There also on different consoles so its not even like they're competing wit one and other directly.
Get over your fanboy selves and go do something more constructive with your time, how can you even begin to compare two games that haven't even come out yet.
