  • Please see the [ 180movie.com ] "it's not the violence of a few, but rather the silence of the many the causes my heart disenchantment.. "I've got to speak up; won't you? ".. all you have to do is tell your friends to see the 180movie.com... but only after you see it.. Peace..

  • An aborted, unborn child is "Half abandoned" because they are not abandoned by the true and living God, Father of our Lord, Jesus Christ. They are abandoned by their mother who makes the decision to have the abortion.

  • Isn't an aborted fetus fully abandoned? Unless its a Chinese folk medicine, I suppose.

  • Vote pro life

  • How many embryos were killing in making this video?

  • Great PK! God bless your life.

  • AtlasDoc2. that's just dumb. I have read projections that under Obamacare there will be hundreds of thousands more abortions next year.

  • I want.. a boy or a girl. :)

  • Does anyone know where I can get this song? I had this Keaggy album years ago but lost it in one of our military moves over the years. This song touches my heart like few others. It seems to be the one song that is not available anywhere.

  • songbird, there is an album retrospective called "Time: 1970-1995." "Little Ones" is on volume 1 of that set. Try searching e-bay for it...I think it's out of print, though. The original album was called "Ph'lip Side," and if you do some scouring on the web, you might be able to find it on vinyl (it's out of print in CD form).

  • Satan don't want this song to get around. it is one of the classics, I was a Christian D.J. in Tulsa Oklahoma on K.C.F.O FM while a student at Rhema B.T.C. my name is Jerome Johns AKA Then as "Brother Johns" I had the pleasure of interviewing Phill over the Air. and we talked about this song, and his comparision of sound to Paul McCartney, He was Amused...

  • You hear the voices of many crying foul at the miserable life of an animal yet these very same people approve of ripping little babies from their mother's womb for convenience sake. Abolutely shameful and may God avenge the death of all these helpless little ones. I feel sick when I hear others talk with little conscience toward the taking of a dear little life. Shameful!

  • A friendly discussion and I was given what was thought a moral dilemma. If a woman, be she very young or not was brutally raped, to imagine if you can the horror she endued, what then if she fell pregnant? Would it be ok then to have an abortion under this very terrible circumstance. My reply, how can a wrong then be made right by commiting another wrong, meaning what did that child in the womb do to deserve death? Their response was, they went dumb, they could not answer.Thankyou for the video

  • @abby0campbell That's awesome! GO YOU.

    God bless. :)

  • i can understand alot of the coments so far on the topic of abortion that are mentioned...but really people...its all comes down to sin....if it feels good ...do it...right?thats the world we live in.Its everywhere..on T.V.,movies ect...nobody wants to pay the bill at the end,so...if you can get rid of the result of somebodys deed as easily as we can these days...why not?....we will all pay the bill in the end...mark his words

  • This song has always been so powerful, but never as much as it is right now, when we have the most radical pro death candidate running for president! I love Phil and have seen him sing this song in person many times. It always makes me weep. I've posted this on my blog. To everyone voting for Obama. Be glad you GET TO VOTE! How about giving the little ones forming in what's now a killing field, the RIGHT to do the same, huh? Can you think of ANYONE other than yourselves?

  • Maybe if you would care as much about the children AFTER they are born, there wouldn't be as many teen pregnancies, and thus fewer abortions! Abortion is NOT the cause of a problem, it is a SYMPTOM, when will you people get it? Treating the symptoms only makes the problem get worse, you must address the cause and that is what Obama is advocating!

  • Christian world view or not, it's a crime against humanity to leave a breathing, living child to die alone in a dark hospital closet because it's not wanted. Obama knows this and yet he voted to extend the practice. He knew exactly what he was doing when he voted for this.

  • I totally agree that abortion is wrong, but can we please not talk about politics? This song has nothing to do with the election.

  • I first heard Phil do this in 1984 and it is one of the most touching video's having to deal with abortion. Thanks for posting it.

  • A few years ago I heard of a case where a man went to court to prevent a woman from aborting his child. He lost. Strange that a man can be held accountable for the support of a child, yet has no say in this matter. The more man's law strays from God's Law, the more twisted it becomes.

  • I suggest a book called "Deadline" by Randy Alcorn, a Christian "fiction" novel containing non-fiction facts. Fathers of aborted children suffer a form of Post-Traumatic stress. Men were designed (I know, I said DESIGNED)to be, among other things, Protectors. Standing by and taking no action while your child is murdered is bound to have a backlash.

  • As I listen to this it brings me back many years enjoying the fun I had with Delora and Roger time stood still.miss them love this song.

  • With so many childless couples who want kids, I find the unwanted child argument weak. Life is life.

  • good song great message. we need to stand up for defenseless children. they are helpless. we should speak up. every life matters. thats one of the reasons i like mike huckabee

  • Beautiful song, but I must admit I support abortion to a certain point. When performed early it is not that different from menstruation other than than the egg has been fertilized. We must also consider what a world the unwanted child is born into!

  • And you cant just say that it is a sin, since you dont know what God thinks. God understands everything and he also understands, why some women choses to get an abortion. I dont say, that abortion is a good thing, I just say that it is sometimes necessary. But people should first and foremost remember to protect themselves while having sex, so abortion in many cases can be avoided.

    Just my opinion.

    Regards Esben

  • Do you think that the same Christ who called the children unto himself would be OK with this?

  • Did you know that when a child is aborted the Dr. has to piece the baby back together on a tray to make sure that it has all been removed from the mother? It is a sick and twisted way to get out of a 'problem'. Personally, I think that every pregnant woman who choses to get an abortion should be shown pictures of that before hand. By the time they can perform the abortion there is absolutely no question as to whether or not it is a baby.

  • Yes, because I believe Christ understands and I believe that, if the mother fx is 15 or a drugaddict, in many cases not allowing an abortion will just bring to life a child looking forward to a life in much pain. And what about children in Africa being born with HIV, living a life in hunger and pain, looking forward to die in a very young age. Life is not always the best option.

  • You need to consider, what is best for the child! Life is not black and white and the bible was written into a world totally different from the world of today. It is more complicated now...

  • You make it sound as if the Bible was written by a man. It is God's Word and he is the beginning and the end. He is not limited to an age. The language used may have changed over the years but the message is for all people of all times. The bible is very clear on the fact that it is wrong to take a life out of selfishness.

  • you're right that the world has changed. ie. we don't publicly stone unwed mothers.... Life is completely black and white! A person is either alive or dead. There is no in between. By aborting a child you are not only robbing the child of life but robbing God of what plans he had for them.

  • The guy you are listening to in this song, lost a finger on his right (picking) hand when he was 4 years old. Now he is one of the best guitarists there is. Only God knows what your future holds.

  • Only God knows the future! We can look at a situation and make assumtions and speculate what a childs life might be like but as humans we are not in any position to make a life or death decision for God. God gave us plenty of examples in the Bible where the death penalty is acceptable and being an unwanted baby is definitely not one of them.

  • Delora and Roger did Phills songs ,miss them !

  • abortion is a sin. stop it !!!

  • Beautiful. Thank you for all your work putting this video together. God have mercy on all of us. This national sin will be paid for and cleansed. And that day will come upon us as a flood of fire. God bless you. Thanks again.

    Your in Christ, Flagranger

  • abortion is evil and a crime against humanity. women that get abortions are selfish morons. this as cruel as anything hitler ever did

  • This is a beautiful song to play, as well. The chords are very pleasing and surprisingly easy to pick up (not that i could sound like Mr. Keaggy!)

    i'm adopted, myself....

  • Beautiful Song. Beautiful Video. Well Done.

  • I love Phil and listened to him alot when I first became a Christian. Thank you for sharing this.

  • If only the editorial board of the New York Times would watch this, perhaps their hearts would be softened.

  • No sadly the abortion crowd cant see beyond there selfish needs to do what ever they want without conciquinces

  • thanks so much for posting this. I have picketed abortion clinics and passed out pro life liturature along with Gospel tracts. I was even arrested once. LIfe is so precious and a gift of God.

  • Part 3 Because of her Repentance and trusting in what Jesus did for her. God will see one that is right standing (just, clean, pure ) Not by what she did but by what Christ did on the cross for her that she accepted with her whole life. Thanks again for sharing

  • Part 2.The crime of breaking His moral Laws (Ten Commandments) had to be paided for. It was either me or Jesus Christ. He steped into the courtroom and said I will pay your debt. I couldn't even keep one of his commands to be declared not guilty. What Great Love is this! So when she stands before the Judgement of God.

  • Part one. Thank you for your note. From the cross, Jesus said it is finished! Your friend has that assurance that what happen to her was nailed to the cross. The guilt can be there also, everytime that memory comes up. What a Mercyful God that would take our place in front of the wrath of God. And with our repentance and turning from our law breaking we have a forgiveness and a Brand new life in Jesus Christ. Justice had to be satisfied.

  • I think this video was very well made.

  • Nobody has the right to decide the fate of anothers life. You are not God.You athiest's say you do not believe in God, then stop trying to be him.

In the end everyone will have answer for every word they have ever spoken! So say on fool.

  • The problem with fundamentalist Christians is that they won't even entertain the slightest possibility that God may not exist. As an Atheist, it would be foolish for me to flatly state that 'God does not exist' - although I will say that I find the concept very unlikely indeed. But fundamentalism of any type is to be in a rude culture where open debate is impossible.

  • Best guitarist on Earth according to Jimi Hendrix!!!

  • Phil is awesome... however, from all I've found, that quote is a hoax (urban legend)....

  • What quote?

  • It's an urban legend that a reporter from Rolling Stone (accounts vary) asked Hendrix how it felt to be the best guitarist in the world. Jimi's alleged reply was, "I don't know, ask Phil Keaggy" I'd heard that for years...since I was a kid. But now we can look up stuff like that pretty easily. Snopes dot com has a lot of stuff on hoaxes and urban legends.

Still, Phil's awesome, and is 10 times better than I am!!!

  • Oh. I used to believe that quote, but Phil Keaggy himself never believed it. I wish Jimi had have come to believe the way Phil does. He'd still be alive.

  • rsderrick:

You speak of 'fact', and then of 'faith' just 6 words later. If you won't respect my belief system then at least don't ever preach to me that these words are the same: it is deeply insulting.

    FeastOnScraps:

I do not agree that all abortions are ethical, certainly not. In certain cases, however, for example when a child is likely to suffer an extremely painful birth defect, then I feel that pro-life is the more barbaric option than termination.

  • my mother in law got pregnant in her early 40's. the doctors upon seeing the ultrasound told her that her baby would be severely autistic and pushed her to have an abortion. they actually made her feel as if she was being irresponsable for not considering the option. she left it in the Lords hands and guess what? the doctors were wrong. her daughter was born without defect and is a perfectly healthy 13 year old today.

  • That is a good story, and yes it would have been tragic had your mother in law had an abortion. But this is a very rare case and I don't believe that divine intervention was the reason for the now good health of the child in question. Doctors are not infalible, but they must still give life-and-death advice for what is best for the child.

  • i never implied that God healed the child in the womb. the implication was that the doctors were wrong. the point to me is that nobody has a right to decide which children are worth keeping or not. i have a cousin who is severely autistic. i can't imagine life without him. taking christianity out of the discussion all together, i think it is selfish to think that life would be easier for all if the children we consider flawed were not allowed to be born.

  • Abortion has always been legal in the case of rape, incest or danger to the life of the mother. It bothers me that people lied to get a bill that has murdered millions of innocent lives. I think all views should be respected, but when you lie and decieve other people to get your way, (& I'm not talking about you, but the exploiters of women & children who can't persuede others to their view using honest means)you should be exposed as liars and phonies.

  • Richard11111, thank God your mother was Pro-Life.

    Pax Christi,

    Feast On Scraps

  • Regardless if you are an atheist or not, on the last day every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord. That is a fact. It all comes down to faith and if you believe or not. Be regardless you will see the truth in the end.

  • True

  • Very touching, wonderful and powerful. The message cuts through my heart. Thank you Phil.

  • Look, I am an Atheist and believe that pro-choice (as opposed to pro-life) is more humane...that is why I am offended by the message here. What on Earth is the supposed 'truth' and 'reality' of the message? The debate continues. I do not, and would not postulate that 'the truth' is pro-choice; it is just my ethical opinion. You may well disagree with this, but to explicity state that my opinion is WRONG is extremely arrogant.

  • Hi Rich is it arrogant to warn someone of an impending disaster before it occurs because you see it and they don't? An example would be a flood or tidal wave. My guess you would say yes in this case. My perspective is that I see and you don't from you view point. There it is faith as to whether you believe me or not. The wave is coming Richard--Pontius Pilate asked what is truth--Jesus said he is the Way the Truth and the Life. He is either right or wrong your choice--

  • To state that the Truth of Jesus Christ doesn't exist, is extremely Ignorant.

  • Amazing that anyone could be offended by this. I agree with philipcarol: anyone not touched by this song -- AND the message -- is probably too far gone. Their minds are closed to the truth.

    Rock on, Phil.

  • Powerful song. Thank you Phil...

  • Perfection in both musical technique and in important message. If one isn't touched by Phil's song, they're probably already too far gone. It's hard to comprehend there are actually people who don't believe the truthful reality of this message.

  • Tremendous video from the man who was described by Jimi Hendrix as the world's greatest guitarist. His ethics and his uncompromising stand for the innocent and for the Word of God are refreshing and inspiring.

  • I mean, I'm a hug fan of the man as a guitarist, but unfortunately not of his ethics.

  • What the... disgracefully sentimental.

  • Wow...after seeing that how could anyone kill a baby?

  • Very nice song, as always by Phil Keaggy, but I don't much care for the message of the video.

  • Very proud to write the fist review of this clip. Some nice touches. and PK's song is sensitive and touching without being judgemental. So sad, and so real. Thank you PK and noah316 for posting this. Pass it around y'all! and God Bless.
