If you want to see where they are located, just earthgoogle 98 Poor Lane, Elmira Idaho. You will see over 10 acres of destruction. They may hide other peoples work, but they are blatant in their own neighborhood. 2 of their neighbors had to hire lawyers against their activities and NWSS is currently being sued in Bonner County Idaho.
I think these shelters are cool as hell. I only have 2 concerns. First, once they apply for a permit in your area the cat is out of the bag, as far as secrecy. My next wonder is how long till Homeland Security, or the Gestapo, demand that these companies reveil all of their customers? Homeland Security is becoming worse and worse these days. Once they know who you are they will take all you have . I guarantee it.
You would be perfectly safe in there while your friends, family and neighbors pound on the door wanting in. All the while their faces would be melting off until they looked like........never mind. The more I think about it the more I want one.
this unit would run you about $350,000 ++++ to have. this there is about $40,000 to $50,000 just in concete and that is not tuching the tip of the costs
hmm...so i survive a nuclear holocaust in my cozy shelter, and emerge to find -- what? after my canned water and spam run out, what shall i live on? after my respirator's filters are exhausted, what will i breathe?
The thing some people forget is that in order to survive you might want an extra storage room for wepons i mean sure if there was a nuclear fallout there shoudnt be much people left trying to kill you but hell why take the chance
will that digital electrical lock still work if a major solar storm happens and wipes out all electrical operations on the planet, not to mention cause major magnetic interfearance etc etc etc. I've heard a major solar storm can drain batteries, (but what do I know??), however, just to be safe, Id change it to a manual combo-lock or something else. All and all though, shes a beaut! a real beaut!!!
The one in Barstow by Vivos I believe said it is built to withstand a 50 megaton nuclear bomb strike within 10 miles...
Yeah I'd like to see the data on that. Still, if you're not in the immediate impact zone, I guess your odds of the structure standing increase exponentially.
i mean thats my opinion. other then that that place would be good for me.! if it had another big space with it i would bring down my xbox 360, computer, tv, some movies, and a heck of alot of food and clothes that would last for about a couple years depending on the disaster occurring
that does not look like a bomb shelter, thats more of a luxury hotel then a place design to save your ass from a bomb or some sort of end of the world disaster! i mean look at the video again! that place can fit like 15 or more people in there! i mean sure everyone would like to be comfortable in a suitable living enviorment as long as they are underground but cmon people! i wouldnt think about myself first.
The Price tag on these runs around $200 psf If you want more information go to the web site at northwestsheltersystems dot com (Tell them Paul Bumgardner sent you please!!) I love these guys!

Why do people spent such amounts of money? This is insane plus it's creepyng me out. Fear is not something that you should spread with these things.

I agree if you have to live in a bomb shelter you might as well do it in style.
