  • atleast hes a goalie stop hating all you what if sombody actuly wanted to be a goalie and never learnt how to skate or stop or anything its hard espiccaly for me since this is my first year in hockey as a winger but i always wanted to play goalie but we all have to learn the basics

  • yo this guy was my soccer coaches son

  • Doesnt watch the puck at all.

  • hes right on the goal line...

  • he's not even watching

  • tvl tvl tvl tvl ten golman nechitil vubec nil lama

  • man youre slow!!

  • Kid doesnt even look like hes trying to stop the puck some of the time.

  • he says "K" ALOT!!!

  • haha dont worry i sucked in my first year of goal tending

  • @26NINJAS Everyone of us sucked at first year

  • nice stance.. reminds me of lundquists ( i dopnt know if thats how you spell his anme) but keep your stick down and put your gloves out mroe :)

  • The kid gets better every video , Keep progressing and working hard little Guy you will go far .

  • whats with this kid's reaction... and move your friggin arms, not your whole body when making a save

  • goaltenders are born, it's a weirdthing, Come from a family of them. Time and shots, that makes a good goaltender

  • guys guys guys he's obviously just learning chill the fuck off

  • :D this is goalkeepeeeer :D

  • those are the easiest saves to make? haha

  • ahahhaha... stick down, glove and blocker more front.

  • watch the puck it's then easyer ;)

  • this goalie isjust terrible his stick is off the ice he needs to put his hands out and come out more....... all around not good goalie

  • What the fuck is your stick going to do when you have it at your knees?

  • gotta actually watch it all the way into the glove and watch it hit your blocker not just move your shoulder

  • yeah make sure you come out a little more, and keep your glove out more so you can get the ones that go over the shoulder

  • All went in except like 2 ? and he kept coming farther out .. hmm

  • he needs to keep his stick on the ice...

  • hold your gloves "fingers up" youll be faster an is better when there inclose

  • ok he probly got better i mean this was 2 years ago

  • Hahahaha..... "are we on?" Okay video, but dude, you have to work on some of your skills.

  • a waste of good pads

  • stick on the ice at all times.

  • wow a little slow on the glove

  • most of these shots went wide

  • Maybe there's another goalie to the left

  • the drill is fine...

i blame the shooter! he should be shooting directly at the glove and blocker... i go through this drill whenever i am at practice or at a goalie training session!

  • I agree but the goalie also has to learn to move his/her glove because the puck isn't always going be shot into the glove. Same thing with the blocker.

  • i think its a machine, it kind of sounds like it.

  • kay,kay,kay,kay GOD SHUT UP!!!

  • the kids got awsome gear, not very good though

  • move up to the rim of the crease, and it wouldnt hurt to go out even farther, like on breakaways, i go out about 3 or 4 feet in front of the crease, it take down the angle of the shooter

  • agreed, although this is a reflex drill it is still a very useful hint for any goalie! and try to keep your glove higher at a more vertical angle if that makes any sense, it minimizes the movement you need to make in order to catch pucks above or around your shoulder, nice saves keep it up

  • a drill like this is supposed to be done in deep. so thats therss more net showing and the goalie needs to move more.

  • How come your not teaching to follow through with your eyes for both your glove and blocker? It's a very easy way to find rebounds and react. The goalie made some nice saves, though

  • Comment removed

  • he says "KAY?" way to much, also in the other videos

  • move about 3 feet infront and you would have stopped a lot more

  • Stick might be a little to small. Either way keep your stick on the ice at all times, dont angle it otherwise it will cause the puck to ramp up into the net. Even though your working on glove and blocker, your are aticipating shots up high to your glove and blocker, dont cheat, one shot down low and it would go right in. Work on your reaction time with blind tennis ball drills. Turn the goal so it faces the boards and have someone shoot tennis balls at the boards so they bounce towards the net.

  • how old, what level ?

  • holy crap you suck

  • lol

  • º¤ø„¸¸„ø¤º°¨¸„ø¤º°¨ post to 9 other vids

    ¨°º¤ø„¸ Copy „ø¤º°¨ press F5 twice

    ¸„ø¤º°¨Paste ``°º¤ø„¸ OK

    ¸„ø¤º°¨¸„ø¤º°¨¨°º look at ur background

  • you suck

  • yeah man I never seen that since I'm 10 and I'm fourteen and I bet he's like 13 or 14 :(

  • he needs to work on tipping the rebounds into the corner and keeping his stick on the ground at all times

  • 1 his stick is to small it messes up blocker and glove side 2 just cause hes 10-11 doesnt mean anything

  • tarible g tender

    a good 3 saves their

  • Shut up he is only something 10-11 years old and he has pretty nice Glove saves

  • he sucks

  • lol, your right

he'd get snipped on if he played in a league

  • Also, I´m pretty sure anyone would be nervous the first couple of times facing a puck machine (He´s so concentrated that he doesn´t even notice his stick is off the ice most of the time). If he sucks (which really is the wrong choise of word here. He´s just new), why do you waste time saying that he do so? If you want attention, that´s the wrong approach.

  • To anyone who say he sucks: Every goalie knows how hard it actually was those first years when you started to play goalie. The equipment felt amazingly heavy. At times it felt just as frustrating as trying to run under water. I know all you haters probably never played the position, or you just don´t remember what it felt like as a beginner.

  • @SneakyMaster very very true i just started playing goaltender and the padding is like having50 pound weights hung all over you

  • @SneakyMaster Could not have said it better mmyself, its my first year and thats exactly how it is

  • you have to be farther in the net for this drill to work

  • nope, you need to not suck for this drill to work, trust me, i play AAA and i do this drill a good amount of times.

  • Im a goalie and its kinda hard cause the nets big and one mistake and its in but im on AAA so :)

  • he sucks! keep your stick on the ice

  • dude, hes like a vacuum cleaner

  • you suck ya jackass!!!

  • keep your fuckin stick on the ice

  • dude, the drill is meant for the goalie to be deep in the net - he'll get nothing out of the drill if he cuts down the angle and the puck just hits him in the chest.

  • im a beast with the glove cause i played baseball before (Y)

  • He needs to come out more. He looks way too tense, loosen up a little, CabanaGuy is right.

  • Isack sucks poor kid!

  • he cant stop a beach ball

  • needs to come out more

  • this kid just doesnt get it through his head. this guy is giving him courage so he thinks he is good. LOL mean.

  • he sucks. cant even keep stick on ice

  • this kid fucking sucks...he's so tense

  • Yeah, the stick needs to stay on the ice, even though its a blocker and glove excersize, it's pointless if your stick can't stay on the ice, and move your glove up, infront of you, this way you can see where your glove is better rather than "feeling" it. Sounds bizarre but its true.

  • plus hes in a standup starter position, he should be lower down so he's ready to go to a butterfly position. if he were lower his stick would be on the ice. He needs to shoot those arms out and MOVE to get in front of the puck

  • nice but keep your glove out a bit

  • bud remember that in practise u shouldn't know where the pucks gonna come from. always keep in ur stance with ur sick on the ground. work on ur reaction time a little bit, it seems like u can't always see the puck. but over all pretty good for im guessing 12-13.

  • the goalie is to far in the net in the begining

  • u suck

  • Goalie needs to keep his stick on the ice. Cover your 5-hole. Other than that keep working on your glove and blocker.

  • u should come a bit out of your crease there will be less net to see

  • dont stay in ur stance, move ur arms around nd stop the damn puk

  • hey man u have a good stance it look really good keep it up

  • U are a Loser man so fuck off

  • you suck at glove and blocker

  • gold in the net sucks balls

  • That must be the worst glove I have seen for a long time, and your blocker is nearly as bad. You may have an ok low down game, but you have a shocking high game.

  • fuckin sucks

but keep practicin and u woulnt fuckin suck :]

  • come out and and be ready and follow the puck come on

  • fuck this video

  • issac you got lit up out there

  • hei keep the cross on the ice

  • lol so many coaches

  • wow your glove sucks

  • u have a shitty glove

  • your legs look to separated and come out more, other than that nice job keep up the good work

  • come out little buddy!

  • this kid sucks im doing my first drop in hockey goalie session today i never played goalie in my life and ill be better then u

  • wow your stuck up

  • get a FUCKING life

  • dude, this kids like 9, 11 tops, hope you feel good bashing him. havea hero cookie while your at it, prick

  • im sorry you buy the best shit for goalies and you cant even catch or block a puck man i would get old stuff that is heavy and work your way up

  • fuck you montreal9000, gold in the net is the best goalie school ever, your probably just to pussy to go through all of the training.

  • Gold in the net is a fucking joke. They're using puck machines, not even real shooters.

  • why are u scared of the puck?

  • I think i'm thousand times better goalie than that kid: S

  • I played goalie when I was 10 5 years ago I just started playing again. The style has changed so much its harder for me than someone starting because I have to get rid of all my old habits b4 I can learn the new stuff

  • He needs to put his stick down on the ice.

He dosent keep his glove open all the time and his stance is a little bit to wide.

  • is the goalie instructing an nhl goalie or is he jus coaching?

  • this kid sux

  • stick on the ice!!

  • put your stick all the way down on the ice if it is that high up in a game your five hol is opend

  • come out of the net more

  • watch the puck come into you glove.

    when using ur blocker.

    ALWAYS LOOK AT YOUR BLOCKER.

  • why is he missing so much ?

  • Never move into the puck. Let the puck come in to u

  • r u dumb man?? "dont move into the puck" r u even a goalie? id definetly say move into the puck,, lead with your stick and gloves and move into it so it can hit u... man u made my day... hilarious

  • well what i did was put 4 or 5 pucks into my pocket of my glove. then i got the pocket wet and pushed the pucks as far down into it i could. then i taped it closed to hold it there.

  • This is good, but the goalie needs to stand

further out of the net, he's leaving heaps

of open net by standing so far back.

  • train more 2 glove saves are low...

  • hes good!

  • hey man i think this is gold in the net my goaile coach teaches there

  • is this gold in the net? it looks pretty fun but im 16 and ive never played goalie on ice so i would have to be in the beginner classes with kids under 9 years old :/ not sure if i want that but it looks so fun damnit :/ do they supply goalie equipment or have it for rent?

  • hey indycolts shut the fuck up man the kid is trying and i bet he can do better tahn u so lets see u do better he is learning that is why he has an instructor so he will get better

  • i did the same thing but with deflections and clear pucks.

  • just some advice keep your stick down and try to break in your glove and blocker. it will help alot.

  • how do you break in your glove and blocker?

  • with the blocker work the palm with your hands so it becomes less stiff and with the trapper i put 4 pucks or a baseball in at and then wrap clear tape around the glove and leave it for a while, or play catch with yourself.

  • The Advanced Programs are designed for goaltenders playing at higher levels of competitive hockey. The program introduces goaltenders to new and modern techniques at a higher level, at a fast pace, and in more detail. this program is ideal for goal tenders who are playing at higher levels and are looking to continue improving their game.

i read this in the description and i am very surprised this kid plays competitive.

no offense you just need a bit of work keep practising.

  • Did he flinch out of the way on the one that beat him glove side at @ :45?? WTF?!?! Take off those pads and get off the ice you fucking sissy!

  • this kid is ok but his reflexes are too slow

  • watch my street hockey video boys

  • lmaooo is this the infamous Izzach?

  • keep your stick on the ice.

  • in texas goalies are better than any scandonavian country

  • Haha, yeah right, I give you that that swedish net minders are mostly poor but better goalies in TX than Finland? Not in a 100 years...

  • how old is he??

    In finland goalies are better

    :)

  • he looks so unsteady on his skates.

  • dude take ur angles away come out of that net

  • yeah come out and take some of that net away, and get your glove up and angled toward the puck coming up off the ice, not tilted towards your side

  • nice saves but you must come out net more

  • this drill should not be about depth, it's about tracking the puck, tendy needs to move both gloves forward and control the puck.

  • what vevery body else said, ditto that.

  • not bad but cover your five hole always unless ur using the blocker.

  • lol regarde the pock with you eyes and tes trop dans ton filet

  • as this has already been established,TRACK THE PUCK WITH YOUR EYES!!!

  • k why would he challenge?...this is supposed to help the kid with his reaction time its not positional training

  • they wanna train him like he would play in a game

  • what the hell are they using to shoot the pucks?

  • A puck shooting machine.

  • Come out and challenge more

  • come out the net more

  • Lots of bad attitude. You all sound opinionated, and mostly misinformed!

These folks are trying to show you something.

Show some respect! That's what separates adults from zit faced kids.

I learned a few things, THANKS!

    Shane

  • Lots of bad atitudes!

  • The goalie in the video wasn't tracking any of the pucks with his eyes. No wonder so many were going in the net.

I can't believe they didn't mention it to him. It would have made a huge difference off the bat

  • his stance is oo wide... he should use his size to his advantage and witha wider stance its harder to move around.

  • it likes shoots 2 pucks to nowhere and then 2 to the net how gay lolz :>

  • do i hear a boni machine?

  • gold in the net is brutal

  • to best the best practice has to be brutal

  • our coaches at gold in the net were only 2 years older then me.. It wasnt very good

  • but im the oppisite hand i block with my left and catch with my right

  • dude ur not suppose to keep ur stick up like that keep ur stick on the ice

  • you suck balls man. try to get better by always watching the puck into your glove

  • this keeper sucks ass he needs to keep his stick on the ice and let his glove out hes bringing it in too tight and not following it in.are these camps any gd as ive been playing for a while but could use some more help with my butterfly.

  • Hey, I might go to this Camp But is it really worth going for how much money it asks for?

  • i went to it, its really good. the cost depends on what kind of class you want.

you can get private lessons, big class lessons..

    regular is $435-$465

    intermediate is $460-$495

    advanced is $640-$695

  • well, i got the brochure and all and i'd most likely go to either special elite, or advanced but some people say that some of the coaches arent that great, and i'd like an opinion from some on who has been there

  • it depends, i had one coach kept giving me shit since i was the only girl in the intermediate grp.

their actually very nice, their strict and all on ice cos' they want you to perform your best but its all good

  • do you have to be good enough to go there?

  • nah, its to help to develop the goalies. your classed by your skill.

  • ok thanks for the information

  • no prob

  • stick on the ice and keep your glove in front of you so you can see it

  • he is horrible! they should have told him way earlier to come out of the net.

  • I've heard some pretty negative things about this camp and now I see why, the goalie coach doesnt tell him to track the puck with his blocker, keep the stick on the ice, or just be more passionate about playing...dont blame the kid blame the coaches for not fixing this

  • Yeah I mean the kid is ten but that's only a bit of an excuse. That kid is slow moving like he just finished a big bowl of oatmeal and has to hit the restroom. It's like he can't see out of the mask. The first shot blasts over his shoulder at about 9 mph.
