I had some good times on euRO and made some good friends that I am still in touch with to this day. I wasn't there when euRO went down as I had quit to play WoW, but now looking at this video I wish I was there to see the final moments of euRO. I can imagine it was equally as sad for the team behind euRO to switch off the server that went on for 6 years, for good.

@TradingTutor Nope that is not what happened. euRO was distributed by Burda/Germany and their contract with Gravity/Korea ended in 2010. The reasons are not clear, but I think that Gravity planned to give the contract for European countries to Gravity Europe, which was already hosting the server for fRO.

Starting in 2011 Gravity Europe started hosting the server not only for France/Belgium but for most European countries. Most ex-euRO players joined fRO to continue their legacy =)

fRO ist das neue euRO, man konnte vor ein paar monaten transferieren, ausserdem is fro f2p mit höherer exp rate und premium möglichkeit, und es gibt nen besseren item shop als auf euro damals, was die community angeht und den server selber im allgemeinen muss jeder für sich selber entscheiden, so wie euro wirds wohl nie sein aber wenigstens besser als nix
