hi!!I'm in Italy and I would like to buy the djembe bass System , The q.Popper Timbales snare, and The pearl djembe14"(or16") showed in this Video...where I can Buy ????
My favorite drummer from Nawlins...Stanton Moore gets all of the attention but Terence is a better representation of Nawlins drumming and he's funkier!!!
I'm worried it'll kill the resonance since the front head is where all the sound is coming from. So at high speeds it probably won't sound like an 808 but rather only have the initial attack of the 14' head.
he's clearly showing some bass drum patterns at a pretty decent speed, and it sounds pretty good to me..this is perfect for the musical styles he mentioned, and you also have to remember this is made for small gigs..but if miced up properly it should sound great in any live situation and won't take away from the bottom end or resonance..even though it has no reso side head, the length of the djembe itself should suffice in low end and sustain...same concept as having a cocktail kick..
