@YoshiAngemon But if Sonic's past selves died, Sonic would be erased from existence, which would prevent him from telling his duplicates to go back and sacrifice themseves, which would then put Sonic bak into existence, but that's impossible since before he was put back into existence he was taken out again by the destruction of the past versions of the other four duplicates, resulting in a negative temporal distance between erasing and coming back...
