What seems to be wrong is the Crystal oscilators dont seem to have any voltage going to them, check the supply voltage for each crystal and check to see that each crystal has voltage going to it, if not then theres your problem, get a service manual and check the schematic for the DC supply for your Crystal Osc, i had a radio with a simular problem to this and it was a zenor diode was bad, i replaced it in now works AOK.
Juan, Yo tengo un FT-707 es un excelente equipamento garanto, seu problema deve estar na placa RF board ou no VFO, os dois problemas sao faceis de serem solucionados, voce pode leva-lo a um bom tecnico de radio com o manual de servicios do equipamento, procure na internet por ft-707 service manual em pdf, boa sorte
Tem os cristais no lugar certo nesse radio? Verifique os Xtais e tire a Umidade do radio, deixando no sol ou passando um secador de cabelos.
