I'm actually not a huge fan of them simply remixing all the songs since we still can play the original tracks too. If we can select between 'original' and 'remixed', I think they should have done like they did with Persona 1 and provided a new soundtrack similar to the rest of the series.

I'm so glad that, rather than almost completely replacing all of the music with J-pop tracks like in the Persona 1 remake, they just remade all of the original OST. And made it better. :B

@JillSandwich93 I actually thought some of the J-Pop in P1's remake was alright. Sure some of it does get annoying, but it presented something different to listen too. Final Fantasy made me dread battle music due to it's pure bore in sound design at times. Though I think P2's remake/ port is looking great regardless

This is a good remix. I remember this making the grinding very enjoyable. OHKO with Armeggedon on Nyarlathotep was worth it too.

I am excite. I only became a Persona fan about a year and a half ago when I played P4 (followed by P3 of course, then the P1 remake earlier this year) I've only just been able to to muster the diciprine to hold off playing the fan translation since summer of 2010... just 5 more weeks, just 5 more weeks.... lol

@nisbahmumtaz909 People have taste when it comes to RPGs. It's one of those much more, "diverse" genre's of game. Persona 4 was the 2nd SMT game I played. Strange journey being the first. I enjoyed Strange Journey enough to be interested in another title. Persona was such a far different game in it's respect. Then several months later, here I am playing Persona 1 before P2 Innocent Sin comes out. Some people are into that. I want to play some of the other SMT titles, due to my respect of Atlus.

Not exactely. The old ones had a somewhat better fitting atmosphere. OSTs exist solely for imersion in the game, and the new ones, despite being beautiful/cool, lack what the original ones had, at least in this respect.
