how can i cut the point that i mark with the magnetic lasso tool?

for example i have a photo of an lion and i mark only the head and want to cut and save only this head without the background

  • Glad it helped. Sounds like you're after a standard copy and paste, or using the crop command from the image menu.

    Hope that helps you!

  • OMG ! brittish accent(= hot....

  • can someone tell me how i take parts out of one photo and putting those pieces on another? like making an awesome smiley pic of me

  • Hey there,

Well you'd make a selection, and then drag it to a new image.

    Hope that helps

  • How do i deselect only a portion of my lassoed area if I've over selected, w/o having to re-lasso the whole area??

  • Hey there,

In the options bar you have an option to subtract from the selection. You can also hold down ALT while you drag.

    Hope that helps
