Didn´t drop it, but I´ve done the exakt same thing one of the first times I rode my new race bike (street legal aswell). First time the sensor was detached on a bike of mine.

My kickstand is still a bit askew :( Though it´s almost always in the box at the garage so it doesn´t really matter. But still... The bike jumped I tell ya´

God forbid anyone have some taste in classic motorcycles. A 750cc, 130hp engine is plenty of power for my needs or anyone elses needs for that matter. Guys, there is a technique to lift the fallen bike yourself... put one foot on its left and one to the right .

I mean, enact the normal riding position on the fallen bike,

keep the front brake locked in,

then lift it by the handlebar and steer right.. keep lifting up.

When the bike lifts up you'll be sitting on it directly...

@jhalton Your bike should run in neutral with the kickstand down but if you put it in gear with it down it should shut off, if it doesn't shut off with the stand down while in gear then the switch the stand pushes against might need adjusted or replaced.
