  • cute girl for the win!

  • THE BEST TECNICS

  • 0:34 is nearly the way Koga explains his ko-uchi-makikomi

  • I love this. Shame about new rules. Thanks.

  • u'r not allowed to use an armlock to get ur opponent on the ground

  • @gajellemans In self defense or grappling it's good to still train in.

  • @RagingDemon89 true but I was talking about competitive judo ;)

  • Hikkomi?

  • great stuff

  • judi chop hahahaha

    jk nice video

  • Where can I watch the full videos?

  • what is this musik?

  • ouch is not a judo term "hajime"

  • ouch is not a judo term "hajime"

  • They've done it really well. I 've not heard before of existing such a Kata's.

Sure, it seems to be much instructive for competition preparing !

  • nice

  • is this a kata? This looks more like an addition to the gokyo

  • I'm so intrigued by this! Can it be used for competition? Beautiful to watch nonetheless.

  • @thesensei Not the ones that involve hand below the belt.

  • who is the white gi girl? she seems familiar

  • beautiful demonstration!

  • hikomi techniques are sure the greatest

  • When the music started I thought it would be some stupid video like how all the TKD videos were set to Mortal Combat for years but as I watched it I was really impressed!

  • it is not realy Jigoro Kano's judo i guess but it is ( even with all the brute force ) realy COOL to see and maybe to practice... i already know the ko uchi maki komi ( that one isn't realy brute force :P ) but 0:49 was realy blowing me of my chair :D.

  • oh man, 0:49 is just begging for a body slam...

  • Are you really sure it's Kano's judo?

    I don't think so...

  • holy shit, that was pretty epic.

  • wow!!!

  • I fell in love with the girl.

  • belas quedas....

  • nice techniques, crappy music :b

  • I'm a BJJ guy but i love wathcing and try to train judo whenever possible. I love the take down at :35. I tried it in class today but i would get my right leg stuck as we hit the ground. But i found out that if you let go of the gripping hand and continue to front roll while your leg is hooked, you can actually take the back!! Definetly using this one!!

  • IThe throw you like is called ko uchi maki komi. I like it too.

I practice both judo and BJJ and what I learn in one helps me a lot in the other.

  • can i use all of them without get a shido?

  • @Ghostrider70120 only if its a continuation of the technique or a combo or a counter a good time will maybe be wen u do osoto gari and they resist then u can do this

  • 0:47 wow

  • Which technique at 0:38? I like it! :)

  • a sort of Juji Gatame in air

  • The austrian schooll judo-do practises some of these moves.

  • Whats the link to purchase the book/dvd? awesome

  • muy bno x)

  • sweet ass moves

  • Correct. It's hikomi kata guruma. The blue judoka is tori.

    Mark Bette

  • at 0.42. The action of blue is not interrupted by the white, so, in my opinion, every referee would assign ippon to blue (for a sort of kata guruma).

  • The baby rocks!! But some executions (anyway spectacular) are quite impossible in shiai :)

  • gj :)

  • I definitly like it !.. great job !..

  • great stuff!

  • beautiful!

  • great!!!

  • @ Hollandkaas:

  • Nice one, a lot of very cool moves in there

  • awesome...great to see a women showing these techniques!!!!!

  • I am a judoka, but I also hold a blue belt in BJJ. I learned about 90% of these in BJJ.

I have used the one at :0.33 alot in sparring. Most people dont see it coming, as I faint a osotogari then drop my leg thru the middle.

  • wow that was amazing. i need to learn these techniques. are they part of the standard judo canon? they don't look it...

  • No, they are not.

  • Yes, some are impossible -_- like at 0:30 and 0:48

  • super, she is good.

  • Wow. I like this demonstration. Good moves.

  • i think the kata is great, but the music ruins the movie*(-_-)...

  • Did these two invent this kata themselves??? This is great!

  • i love judo!

  • Hallo Hollandkaas?

  • good

  • Hikomi Waza that's great Judo

  • This is great! ive been doing Judo about 8 years now and never seen some of these techniques!!!

  • Let somebody help now. The dvd interests but I do not know that it would be possible to obtain it on Hungary! The film is fantastic anyway.

    Groeten, Rienk

  • Nice vidéo, seems to be an interesting kata :-)

  • Exelente!

  • Great video. Just shows that there is so much to learn.

  • The book (and DVD)describes 21 hikomi-waza techniques (combinations and gaeshi-waza)in kata-form.

Some of the techniques are totally new, other techniques are variations of existing techniques.

The book including the DVD costs €22,50

    Mark Bette

    Netherlands

  • Hi

    Is this book in English?

Ifso where can i buy it?

    Thanks

    Joe

  • Hi

The book is in dutch, but it has over 300 photos. The DVD is a very good illustration of the book (without language). You will see the whole kata and then all the techniques in slowmotion from different angles.

  • Prachtigge video ;)
