man i was so young when i watched this show. i was in elementary school. i used to come home at lunch time and watch this and sally jesse raphael.

this show brings back memories of watching this show with my grandma when i went to visit her in mexico it was in spanish she passed away from cancer

Of course by the time of this program, no one really came to America by way of Ellis Island, that ended the year I was born, or the year before, (not sure which)but the symbolism remained.
