  • 5 people got lost in the train graveyard.

  • so moving...just now, nothing has hit me more potently with nostalgia than the soundtrack to this game. it's feels like when i just experienced the game for the first time again. *sigh* really....wow.

  • Recreate a village that burned to erase proofs of an anterior village doesn't work if 2 of their people survived. F**k the Shin-Ra

  • I stream this to almost everything I play haha.

  • When this music plays, you KNOW crazy shits about to go down.

  • Hell, this is so epic ♥ have to think about young Cloud and Tifa ♥ and the Nibelheim-burn...with Sephiroth, all changed...

  • with the way our global economy is doing soon this will be our theme song...who will rise as the unexpected hero to save us?

  • @bluestreek004 Kennedy reborn...

  • @bluestreek004 not just the economy. the entire system of human collective society. it's all going downhill. all downhill...

  • Listening to 'Anxious Heart' can probably heal an anxious heart. It's just so wonderfully soothing.

  • This vibration of molecules and atoms, producing that which we (humans) in this place in time (reality) call sound, is the essence of the atoms and subatomic particles that compose my body which is seen on the macroscopic level. I at times listening to this beautiful harmony, feel in tangible chemical interactions, dubbed (feelings/emotions). I feel that of hopelessness and sadness at these times....

  • This song can really make you think on a depressing day, almost helps.

  • Greatest song that I've ever heard on a video game!

  • its been about 2 years, the music makes me wanna play again lol. emuparadise here i come :P

  • Everyday she went to the train graveyard hoping his his husband would come back from war. He never came. Then one day a mysterious child appeared in the train.. otherwise, the children of Nibelhelm wanted to go to Mt. Nibel, and someone remains as bad influence by saving a girl..

  • Having bad day ..... Problem with girlfriend etc... Only result to calm myself was to listen to anxious heart... I guess i did the best thing on the year 2012.

  • Happy 15th Birthday, you wonderful, wonderful game.

  • got out of hiding after a nuclear fallout. see the city's ruin and a mushroom cloud far away...

"well, time to find some female and repopulate the world."

  • Has been Nostalgia'ed, thanks alot, JERK!

  • Anxious Heart to be in my hometown, when i came all i saw is flames burning all things i loved, my memories are burning too, my heart never be healed...

  • Not to diminish what the composer has written. But the MIDI format does what no performer can do.

  • @WindCarried like what?

  • it does suits it title "anxious heart" lol

  • Damn it!! Stop the wars around the world, we don't need another family to lose their friends, fathers, mothers, daughters or sons!

  • @vettafaene too right mate

  • @newlyfoundrenegade lol!!! thats hella funny bro

  • Nibelheim....Burning.....

  • Playing Skyrim while streaming this playlist, fucking win.

  • @GTOShakatis Your a goddamn professional!

  • @GTOShakatis Playing Pokemon Leaf Green while streaming this playlist. Yup, we're awesome. *high fives*

  • fits the sector 7 trainyard well

  • Sometimes i dont even finish listening to the song on here coz it sometimes "dilutes" or waters down the experiences i have when playing the game. my approach is, every time i play the game i want to experience it in a renewed sense as if i was playing it the first time.

and i dont do this with any other game (in mind) except also FF8. This game is THAT SPECIAL to me.

  • @keverinkarama lol I know what you mean.

  • master piece

  • awwwww.... this song reminds me when aeris dies :( well i dont really like using her in battles though if u noe wat i mean

  • this is,, forever a piece of my soul

  • This song plays when I'm one of the last to be picked for dodgeball...

  • @Onoku1690

    Don't be a fag.

  • @MKER2 Huh?

  • stop and feel it... the melody witch give your heart what it needs

  • So many memories...It's good to know i haven't yet actually finished this game.......But it just shows how AVALANCHE fought for the needs of the many even if it didnt seem so at the time. Destroying the reactor, attacking Shinra....Everything they do is to help others but not themselves...

  • That Year 5 Days ago..

  • *tries to think up meaningful comment...but sits in deep thought instead* Continues to listen to the music.

  • my heart almost stops when i hear this song... there is so much meaning in this game and these tracks for me...

  • most fuckin beautyful game EVER! the music on its own is more epic than every other game out there. nibelheim...

  • I really wish Square Enix would release Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VIII on Steam.

  • I'm gonna be different and just say this game is epic (understatement) since words can't describe how I truly feel about this game.

  • This is probably my favourite song from any video game. The Nibelheim events are still my favourite moments in any RPG. And to me FFVII is more than a game I was 6/7 years old when I played FFVII. And I took it all in, it moved me as a person. Even though I was young, it impacted on me, it was an integral part of my childhood. I have a terrible memory but funnily enough, I remember like it was yesterday, the exact days I experienced VII for the first time, I'll never ever forget, a lifechanger

  • This song makes me sad in a good way. Call me masochistic but I like this feeling...

  • @QuantumLeap365 I know what you mean! Strange how that's possible isn't it? Enjoying the feeling of sadness represented through artistic expression...What a universe.

  • @QuantumLeap365 THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS MASOCISM!! just because it's pain? phsssh. they're all SENSATIONS after all; why discriminate?

  • damn! too much of everything!!!

The music is just tooo...too good

  • people have got to stop thinking about FFVII as just a game, or just a movie or anything like that, the sooner people realise that you've got to start thinking of the characters as actual people not just thoughts out of some guys mind, i know that cloud and his friends arent actually real, but thier story is more moving than anyone elses life story.

  • Every time I read a comment about someone who felt so moved by scenes in the game, I feel like I missed out somewhere.. Damn my memory!!

Makes me want to play again. =(

  • Cloud: "...... A ruined reactor....."

  • RieValentine I go with you the same thing cause my dad died on July 4, 2011 and made me very sad when he died in the hopsital and me and my family and freinds of his were there at his funeral and this song made me remember how much I miss my dad.

  • This song plays everytime I look inside my wallet...

  • @newlyfoundrenegade Nice one.

  • @newlyfoundrenegade HAHAHAHAHAHA

  • @newlyfoundrenegade OMG LOL too funny, man.. :crying:

  • @randomrob1968 Im glad you all find my financial crisis amusing :( LOL Im kidding!

  • @newlyfoundrenegade -- Im laughing WITH you, believe me (looks in wallet - cue music) :)

  • @newlyfoundrenegade lmfaoooooooo

  • @newlyfoundrenegade lolololol

  • @newlyfoundrenegade Holy shit i haven't genuinely laughed like that in years. thank you

  • @papiiuenvy186 Lol your welcome man I posted that comment 3 months ago and Im still in the same situation...I need a job.

  • @newlyfoundrenegade Lol you and me both brother.

  • @newlyfoundrenegade That made my day bro hahaha. Thanks!

  • @newlyfoundrenegade jaj im the 200th thumb upper =p

  • @greenweegee64 LOL thank you!

  • @newlyfoundrenegade thank you for epic comments

  • @newlyfoundrenegade Seriously the best comment I've ever read on youtube ever. I can see it so vividly in my mind it's insane. And then the look on your face afterwards.

  • @Tomweldonsays Yeah I have to agree, really. From such a perspective, it's a wondrous experience to be (quasi)-poor. It's a fun experience to have an anxious heart, in the larger sense.

  • @newlyfoundrenegade hahahaha Oh my God.

  • @newlyfoundrenegade LOOOL :D

  • after the mako reactor explosion...good times

  • i respect japanese people for making these god like music, only they can compose this kind of music that will get you thinking about life and calm yourself down

  • @Reikobaby So effing true

  • My Dad is on his deathbed right now. We can't do anything.

And as I'm listening to this song, now, I remember in the Forgotten City, this playing before the party goes to the Altar.

And I think of my Dad as I do about Aerith and her death.

And I will remember my Dad through this song. ♥

  • @RieValentine I'm so sorry to hear that

  • Song is the epitome of the USA depression theme today :(

  • Almost sounds like prelude at some parts...almost...

  • Oh wow, this video is used to bad mouth FXIII? lol

  • I remember playing ff7 trying to get out of the train graveyard to this song ... it was annoying as hell . It took me forever to get out of it ... but still i miss this game ... all hail ff vii

  • BAHHHH....I WANT A REMAKE SOO BADLY!!! ;'D

  • @danyrx8 we all do

  • @rahbeanz164 So let's fight for it, people!! If you want something soo bad i'v to fight for it soo badly too, cos things do not fall from the skies, we have to fight for them! So let's start an undersigned protest to SQUARE so can they finnaly start showin some respect t the fans, n finnaly pull this off, n don't came to the fans wth lame excuses that if they went to mak an remake it will take the team 40 f* YEARS! Soo f* fake! So if you agree with this thumbs up n let's get this on t road!! ;D

  • @danyrx8 why would anybody want a remake? so they can butcher it like all crappy games nowadays?

heres a better idea, go download epsxe for free and emulate away, it looks better on pc than that old playstation atleast.

  • @illidur I guess u really don't know what you are sayin'?! Of course a remake of this one would make the life of every person who loves videogames, especially FFVII, which was the game that has putted me playin the serie, cos without it i would give a damn abt it! And the reason i\we fan(s) want it so badly was cos that syupid amz teasing vid showin the beginin of the FFVII in HD showin us how wld he b if it was remade to PS3!(N that was the reason i got though an 60GB PS3, but it never cam out)

  • @danyrx8 nah, saying you want a remake is like saying its not good enough as is. low resolution is annoying however, but emulation fixes that problem.

  • @illidur We surely have different point of views, but yeah your idea of Low R is not bad. But i will always stick with my idea of FFVII remake! ;D

  • @rahbeanz164 Not from their FF13 team. Worst game ever.

  • @Music1222 I stopped at IX

  • @rahbeanz164 That was wise, but I will say I think you missed out a little on X/ X-2, which work perfectly together. Crisis Core was good, too, but no where near the old standard. Still, at least we always have 7 to replay.

  • @danyrx8 The game should keep its quality in dark atmosphere and whatnot, just in HD. FF13 was too pretty to be nostalgic. We need the nitty gritty!

  • @enlighteneveryone I haven't played the XIII yet, for i guess your right! It seems that how much technology we get, the harder it gets for them to make a game, that can fit in the nowadays discs(that that is easy 50GB!), but the prob is the longetivity of the games, due to the fact they will have to pull an big story for it, and a great work for the vid programmers, due to the fact that we vid players want to see real HD nitid games!(i speak for myself n thats my kind of idea! ;P)

  • this is the famous nibelheim track, also the city that caused the most confusion among the eerie background and strange difference with cloud's memory for first timer

  • perfekt

  • This track IS Final Fantasy 7.

  • ff VII, xenogears and FFT best games ever... I could play it all night long, all day long. I was playing it several times. New FF's are boring to me, maybe I'm too old now.

  • @TheAbek613 yeah man, couldnt agree more!

  • @TheAbek613 I agree!

  • 1:17 in the City of the Ancients. You know something bad's about to happen by then. Things were too quiet until now.

  • Epic Moments at this Song :) ... Oh God ... Played that Game when i was 6 or 7 Years old ... I was rly young ... But i loved it since them until yet ! ... And now with 19 i play it again and understand the Story and everything better :P .... Was , is and will be the Number 1 Role Play Game in my Life :)

  • Guys just imagine With Me: 0:00 to 0:35: In The Slums Of Midgar,aGirl is sitting alone. Her Face Covered With Her Hair She Looks Anxious, she lifts her Face. It's Aeris 0:35 to 1:16: She Holds Hands and thinks,She is Overwhelmed By The Dark Thoughts 1:17 to 1:36 she Feels an arm holding Her gently she Looks,It's Cloud she looks deep in hisblueeyes as if she looks for Place To Hide,Cloud kiss her on the brow 1:37 to 1:51 they Look To The Black Cloudy Sky Hoping That They Can Stop The oneWinged Angel

  • I used to watch my brother play this game, good memories! played it myself too when he wasent interested in playing and I always wanted him to watch and help me as i played, best memories!! wont ever forget!

  • @BlizzardJoe I know, right? I love this game, and the music, and the memories of the game itself--but the events in my life at the time have this special attachment, which accentuates what the game offers. I have similar memories with my best friend at the time at his older brother's place.

  • 7. nothing else.

(ok maybe a bit of 6 and 9 but nothing compared to 7)

  • This track is the perfect expression for a tragic aftermath. The worst aftermath is perhaps the one which is so eerily calm and silent.

  • I always called FF7 and FF8 perfect ties as games. I simply can't choose one over the other, even though I played 7 first.

  • A beautiful and rare jewel in a murky slum.

  • I'd forgotten about this song when I was going through the FF VII OST...

It's just so full of despair. :< It fits parts of the game really well, and I can't help but feel sad when I hear it...

  • Words suck to describe feelings, music does much better work. This is piece is proof!

  • The story's amazing, even despite several plot points being spoilt for me by the internets (I'll get my revenge someday...) and there aren't many games at all like that. Not easy and straightforward like FFXIII, but not simple and complicated like FFI, even though I still think they're good games too

  • So deep... the storyline for this masterpiece was incredible! I can't believe how stupid I was the first time I started this game, thinking how boring it was, but then, the story, you actually start to figure some things out (Zack, Sephiroth, Shinra, ect.) And oh! Well, this song is probably the most memorible for me... I will always love FF7, forever...

  • @BellemeresXangel

    hes talking about ff13 lol

  • Sometimes I play this when I drive through a broken down part of town on my way home from uni. Seems to fit perfectly sometimes.....

  • I love this soundtrack so much. Nobuo Uematsu is the reason I started writing music, I heard his music 14 years ago and haven't stopped writing since.

  • This song is stuck in my head when I go about my daily life.

  • One of the best songs in the whole Final Fantasy franchise

  • 1:17 - 1:37 is just... so deep. its like the most reminiscent and melancholy 20 seconds of music EVARR CREATED

  • I like this song...It played when Cloud and Aeris first met. :)

  • Music like this makes me miss the people i grew up with, a lot of them I put off to play this lol

  • For me this introduction looks a lot like Spacelab by Kraftwerk (1978). Even then it stills a great song.

  • I tell ya music like this reminds me of the gold old days when I was 8 years old and then played a demo of ff8 from a friend of mine across the street and from there it led me to rent and eventually buy both 7 and 8. I eventually got to 9(my favorite in the series) and 10 but from there the series has just stayed to its name final fantasy and 13 just killed my hope or whatever little respect I held for square. 13 was nothing but a pretty empty shell.

  • tifa and cloud anapolising their childhood moments and talking about past.and tifa beeing on a swing(or w/e is called)and cloud looking on the sky at fool moon and beeing laid back but kinda worrying.then barret interapts their flashbag telling em about the flower of the little girl.this theme is also played on train station before u go.theres an artifact there about a story of newspaper.its A WHOLE BOOK artifact!like a fairytail.damn those details make ffvii 1of best games ever(ff7&mgsr thebest

  • This reminds me of my past. Everything that has happened, happened for a reason. All those bad times.. but I'm still alive...

  • I play this entire playlist when I'm playing WoW.... God I love this game. <333

  • I'm thinking of buying a PS3 just to play this game again!

  • @Jostra123 wait wat u can get this for ps3 wtf ive been lookin for a copy for ps1 on amazon and shit like that

  • @foo176 Yeah it's in the PS3 store online.. :P

  • @foo176

Yeah. It can be downloaded via PSN - Playstation Network. If you don't whats that. Well.. it's an online store in the Playstation 3. The game alone is 9.99 - 10$. If you want to buy the whole pack which are - FF7,FF8,FF9 then it would be 30$.

  • This song, played in nibelheim has ever gave me a sense of anxiety, because i knew that the abitants were hiding something.

  • Final Fantasy 7 FOREVER. : ) The best one of all

I will always have you until i die.

  • @gMemo92 I own FF7 on computer and on playstation, not to mention, I don't even own a playstation. My friend had this game in high school and I watched him play it for over a year straight. I saw a used copy and bought it instantly.

  • @ssallen1s

: ). I started with Final Fantasys cause of my grandpa i was 8yrs old. Stayed playing this all day and night with him. The thing is now he won't play this games. Hes to busy with shooters and others. .. theres no games like this ones anyways right now. I just miss those days.

  • why do they keep extending the history?why do they keep trying to get our money, instead of our hearts?

It would be awesome if they made a FF7/Deluxe, and cram on it all the history of the game, and FUCKING SAVING AERITH, and all the cliffhanger stuff finished, instead of "just one more bite off the cake"

I stopped playing because I lost my save(which was right near the end), and never came back because they are still doing that shit

when will Cloud´s story have an end?will it be happy?

  • Midgar was the best and deepest part of that game.

  • großes spiel, große musik..

  • This track evokes such a feeling of melancholy tranquility. I suppose it's quite fitting, too, given the game's atmosphere. A planet slowly dying as the people are without hope, yet live on in blissful ignorance toiling away until the end of their days, dancing around on invisible strings like human marionettes. While character development was more well-rounded in FFVI, I've always maintained that FFVII had the most intricately crafted setting in the main series. Even without the spinoffs.

  • @Harkz0r

well said , I've couldn't express my feelings better than this

  • @Harkz0r

    Especially without the spin offs.

  • FF7 introduced me to RPGs in general. I won't lie and say I think it's the best game I've ever played, though it certainly is a worthy contender. But there's just something to be said for your first experience of the genre - aged about 9 or 10 - being a game like this. The feeling of playing it was indescribable. Freedom, emotion, expansiveness, immersion, just... words fail me. For me, the FF series kinda died after X. I expected more out of the team that made FFT and Vagrant Story, but... hmm.

  • It makes me sad to think nowadays all kids care about in a video game is shooting your friends faces off online. No appreciation for games like FF7 that made you fall in love with the characters and story. *sigh*

  • @LeOsWoRLD777 Untrue. Gaming has simply become more mainstream, and thus a lot of the people that play profuse amounts of FPS would probably not have played games like this back in the day in the first place. However, that does lead on to another thing: the state of the light RPGs coming out of Japan. The only halfway decent games anymore seem to be remakes, with a few exceptions. FF went down the toilet. Star Ocean isn't as good. Tales games are barely ever localised. The list goes on. Tsk...

  • Such an amazing game with such amazing game, so good it almost makes me feel guilty if I stop listening to it.

  • @Jimbo5able Yeah i agree. its an amazing game with such amazing game. ^__________________^

  • You are so Awesome. I have been looking for this song for a long time. Thank you.

  • @SpaceTasteMedical i dont rush home from school to play this game but i used to, now everytime i get home from work i grab a beer and turn on the ps3 to repeat the same adventure that captivated my heart when i was a kid FF7 forever! :D

  • @SpaceTasteMedical Yeah man i agree.I got FF7 when i was in 5th grade around the time it came out and i couldnt wait to get home to play it.i had my fuckin pepsi and Roma magic crust pizza and of course FF7 but that was all i needed. No other game gave me the feelings like FF7 did.I sure hope SquareEnix goes back to being SquareSoft and remakes this game. A guy can dream cant he?

  • I go back in time 10+ years when I hear this song. It makes me feel wistful and nostalgic. Mostly because of things that happened that I didn't want to happen, or things that didn't happen that I wanted to happen. This stuff was my soundtrack as a teen. :-) And its funny because it always makes me think that the best times are always in the past...like something was irretrievably lost.

  • this song makes my whole life flash by in my mind

  • Final Fantasy 7...truly one of the all-time great games to have existed ever with an OST to match. This theme truly gives you the feeling that everything is okay...but it also truly isn't. The development of the characters in this game is practically unparalleled and no matter what, this game should never be forgotten. This game had everything; emotion, good, evil, confusion, betrayal, revenge, life, death...there shall never be a game quite like FF7...

  • Listen to this music and open the window for nice view of pollution and it fits very well...

  • When you play ff7, it drags you into its world. I remember, when I played ff7 as a kid, I was in that different world, in the world of ff7. With its great Story, unique music, lovely characters, and its lively world. its just wonderful.

FF13 has a confusing and boring story, unfitting music, boring characters, and a dead world. The difference between FF7 ( 8,9 and 10) is that its made with HEART, and FF13 with avarice for money.

  • This song plays when i had my heartbreaking moments with the girls i used to date....... And i still have feelings for one of my exs but she likes someone else even though she likes me and always has been, but for now, she likes somebody else.......

  • @Xiao2070 cool story bro

  • @JazukaiX yea, that and the song making me cry

  • This song plays when i had my heartbreaking moments with each girl i used to date......

  • I'm going to be honest; FF7 was probably the last Final Fantasy game in my eyes. The series should've stopped there before going on the downward spiral it is now. I remember playing this back in 97, being amazed at *three* discs needed. The storyline, music, and characters was unlike anything I've ever seen before in a videogame and proved that indeed this could be another outlet for art. I pretend the whoring out of FF7 never happened. It's a game that anybody can enjoy.

  • Doesn't this song just make you feel horrible and sad?

  • would i be the only person who'd love this game to be released on 3ds - same (polygon) graphics, gameplay etc, except in 3d. being able to play this game whilst on the go would make my life complete
