shut kid u r so dumb thats only for the 3g and for the 2g u dont need that. 3g is easier than 2g bec. 2g u can mess up the digtizer so easy but in the 3g u can take the whole thing apart and the problem u will be facing getting the glass off the panel but at least u wont mess up the digitizer which going to be less pain or u can buy a new panel which is easier and u save time and pain in the ass any questionsss????
You don't need a replacement LCD glass w/ digitizer for the 2G iphone. The glass without it works perfectly -- [ MENTAL NOTE ] ... the 2G doesn't need a digitizer attached to the replacement LCD glass for you to be able to repair it. Only the 3G does !
No, I repair iPhones for a living, and you dont buy this for the iPhone 2g. This part is for the 3g! I have 10 of these glass/digitizers in stock right now, and have never seen one for a 2g. Also if you think about it, it would be just as hard to seperate the digitizer from the lcd as it would be to replace the glass, seeing as its all fused together. It is impossible to replace just the glass especially without removing it. If you try to dig the glass off on a 3g you will ruin the frame and lcd

after i replaced the screen i turned it on but the screen just goes white for a few second and does not boot

no they do not. i fix iphones for a living iphone 3g and 2g have TOTALLY different hookups all around.

yep, true ! I tried to fix it too without the digitizer. remove the glass from the digitizer : impossible !
