Naw the acapella was let me clear my throat but he then cut into the original oldschool song that DJ Kool stole the beat from which was "The 900 Number" by the 45 King. I was kinda pissed off when DJ Kool came out with let me clear my throat cause it made that beat accessible to DJs that didn't know how to do research and dig for records. Now with Serato and mp3's its even wors so it doesn't even matter anymore. It still comes down to how you use it, but even more so now as we can find the music
