I was going to take my children to the 13th gate in Baton Rouge but someone mentioned this one. I am a Christian person. I'm not all holy rolly but stuff that speaks out against Jesus/God it really makes me mad. I want to enjoy myself with my children not get all pissed off, you don't joke with that. Yes, I know this is a holiday of Satan, but I would rather keep it fun for the children and keep them away from Satan crap. We are going to stick to candy and small ghostly haunted houses for now.
noo acualy its not a satin holiday it was a happy celibration of sants but then the romans put the traditions on it that u celibrate today ha i learned it in religion class
No, that's wrong. It happened in Ireland around 2,000 years ago. The Celts believed on Oct 31'st the world of the living and dead would be blurred, and the dead would come back to on that night. So, the Celts would build huge bonfires, and dress up in animal mask and skins to scare off the spirits, 'cause they believed they would destroy their crops for the long Winter months. Now, the church came in and taught you should hallow the dead. It turned from Samhain, to All Hallows' Eve, ect.
...ok if your really as christian as you say you are then youd know that halloween stands for hallows eve, which was declared the night for angels to come out and protect people... besides the people there arent even really satan worshipers, its all for show and display to give the place a nice extra effect so yeah take advice from the guy that actually works there and can verify its not a bad place...ive seen 5year olds go through just fine
It's All Hallows' Eve* And, at first it was Samhain, and it was the day the dead wondered the earth; then the church came and taught they should hallow the dead. Anyways, I'm Christian, and I think it's stupid when people think that Halloween is an evil holiday. I mean, it doesn't say anywhere in the Bible thou shall not celebrate Halloween.
Halloween isn't a "holiday for Satan". The reason it's called 'Halloween' is because of the church that taught the Celts to hallow the dead. This isn't speaking out against God, it's just trying to give the feeling they're about to be killed in a satanic ritual. It's trying to give people a scare. I'm a Christian and if I had a haunted house I would put pentagrams everywhere, and things to look like satanic rituals, ect.
Just because you're a Christian doesn't mean you're scared are sicken about EVERYTHING that is satanic. The Bible talks more of Hell then it does of Heaven. I'm a Christian and I'm fascinated about serial killers, Hell, Demons. It doesn't matter if you're a Christian or not, it matters what person you are. Some people just get really freaked out about seeing things that are meant to be like satanic rituals.
I heard about it on the Travel Channel's most extreme Halloween & I would LOVE to go & see it for real! It looks like a haunted house on freakin steroids!
Was there last night, totally insane, I plan on going every year, very creative and the pyrotechnics lit up the sky, good job Phil and NOLA Metal rules!!! Parabellum from Pensacola cranks up the swamp metal from Pensacola next weekend.
I went there last year. Everytime something jumped out at me I laughed, but when I was walking over that bridge and somebody grabbed my foot that's when I lost my cool. And those chainsaws scared the hell outta me. I wonder what they would do this year.
Im taking at trip to New Orleans this october :D

I heard there is cross upside down with a skelton that is supposed to represent Jesus. I heard it was too Satanic for most Christians.
