Very good idea, wish I'd thought of it. I needed to replace the bearing on my selector as well.
I installed my new silver + lead bearing, everything seemed peachy. Reassembled the gun, and went to test it. It was at that moment that the bearing failed. It got caught up with the spring, and part of it broke off. I had to completely disassemble my gun to get at it again. Maybe it was just a fluke... but I'm withholding judgement.

another question i have is how do you install and detach the selector swich? i need help i have a game coming up and my selector swich fell off.

what are these for? they are what make the swich stay in place and make the clicking sound right?

cuold try flicking them into water to avoid the flat spot?

water makes the solder flatten out and distort, this is the best way ive found to make them.
