I think I played this on my psp, the graphics are cool, but the gameplay is very scripted, or else restart all over into the check point...

crappy eh whatever this ain't a game for impatient people and idiots who don't bother to train and just rush in lol. i mean come on not so hard at all lol patience is 1 thing but i gotta say ilike the challange of beating the timer in each section i've played all of em from ps1 and mine was ordered from japan i even went ahead and played in order of story not game the 1st 1 is 2nd story 2nd 1 is 1st ory fatal shadows is 3rd story wrath of hev is4 th story this is a5th story Z is after this 1

when you are in the rafters you rotate with the thumb stick and jump by flicking the wiimote forward the reason people have trouble with this game is they dont emerse themselves enough into it step out of this world and live in fuedal japan for an hour yknow? sounds stupid but it works think like a ninja,evade and survive. its so much easier when you actually ARE IN THE GAME!!!! get it?

They've changed a lot since Fatal Shadows. Gameplay in general has dramatically changed from it's predecessors.

Regarding why it's not the PS3. I would think it's because of funding issues. So many titles are being pumped in to the market...and Tenchu being a hidden gem (in it's days) might have a hard time competing with other games.

But--I too wait for the day Tenchu shows it's face on the PS3.

@inv3rsedance I think it's rather funny though, Don't you think: Tenchu originally came out for the PS Platforms, and now that XBOX came out, instead of going with PS3, It went with XBOX/XBOX360, It's ironic I think :D

That has been the recent trend. If a game doesn't migrate to another system, it'll share it with others. Of course there are still a few exclusives here and there--just not nearly as many since last gen.

Nintendo on the other hand...is almost pure exclusives. Especially when you're talking about the unique gameplay it offers. However...that may change with the introduction of motion sensor controllers with 360 and ps3

Pretty much. :P Haven't ever since though, can't be bothered. About the fighting thing, later on in the game you can get swords and stuff so you can fight back.

i miss tenchu gameplay on ps2 :( on wii...we just need to sneak and kill ... on ps2 we can feel free to kill enemy with our way (stealth / close-combat)

The the game have the option to brighten it up some in the option menu..??? Will you do a full walkthrough with cutscenes and all or you can just make a video of all the cutscenes because the story is the only thing I'm interested in...please. Do they have a threater mode after you beat it to where you can watch all the cutscenes..??? If so record all that and post it on Youtubes.

I think it has a option to make it brighter, haven't figured it out yet tho. I didn't get past stage 1 yet so I don't have all the cutscenes.
