Would like to know what airline she flies for so I can NEVER fly with them again...right after I send a letter asking what kind of an image do they really want and if this is the type of role model they want for little girls and young women to aspire to in their career choices. I showed up to watch a clip of her because people on IMDb were talking about the episode and how they thought she was mentally ill. I don't see much to disprove that theory. :P
This woman (if you can call her that) was painful to watch. She looked SO much better afterwards and she took the whole experience for granted. @ChrystelleSG I saw this episode a couple of months back and wish I had taped it. She looks so so SO different without makeup. It was like night and day. In my opinion she was much prettier without the makeup but even at the end of the episode she admitted she didn't feel entirely comfortable with her new look and might go back.
I wouldn't normally suggest someone get cosmetic surgery, but if she's so self-conscious about her lips that she has to pout them out in an unnatural way 24/7 then she should just go ahead and get some filler or something. You could tell when they put normal make-up on her that the upper lip was thin on the sides but they didn't look bad! It's called Cupid's Bow. That's obviously way she's trying to cover because you couldn't even tell the true shape of them from the way she WAY over lined them.
I seen this today after my exam, which I felt like I bombed. Ten minutes of her saying: zebra boots are for the zoo or whatever, I immediately felt like my IQ was 200...

We live in Seattle and just met Denise. She was incredibly sweet. Loved her on the episode and made our day to meet her tonight. Definitely memorable and now I always say, "Super cute!"

Pretty certain a career and a future in that career are two entirely different things. Didn't mean to offend your friend, but suggest that getting ahead (promotions) are more more difficult if you look like Barbie. And while one may have a lot of friends, dating is also different and as equally difficult.
your right. but right for those who have the desire to be promoted and not do what they love to do now. and dating would be a challenge for this look. but even with all of that....people need to do what they feel good about doing as long as they are good to others and have morals. we may not like her look but she does and in the end shes not hurting anyone and she is living her life. i just hate how the world tells us to "be" to be accepted.
What a beautiful, wonderful person! Denise is super secure in who she is - just because what she likes to wear is not "main stream" doesn't mean she's hiding anything. She is by far the least "artificial" person person I have EVER met! Just because YOU may not wear what she does means nothing. She is so incredibly compassionate, good hearted person & she would NEVER judge someone - anyone, stranger or friend - for what they wear. She loves bling. So, what?! This is a huge lesson in not judging!
When we saw beneath all that make up, she really was absolutely beautiful. I hope that this experience did teach her that she doesn't need to over do everything. Plus, she's got an hilarious sense of humor.
At least she's comfortable with who she is and how she dresses. Personally I would not dress this way, partially because I wouldn't know where to begin, but I do like that she's doing something that she's happy with. Watched it last night! I go to the New School, and in the Dorms we had some Parsons students into this. The room was DYING over Denise! She needs her own show, "Denise's Themed Parties" where she plans outlandish parties for clients! BEST EPISODE YET!!!
She seems like a nice person but also annoying. She looks old with the fake tan and looks very pretty with less make-up and without that poof. The way she does her mouth is weird. I don't think she learned anything from this experience.
This episode was so uncomfortable and sad to watch. Denise needs a therapist immediately. I suspect she was traumatized in some way, and is hiding behind this grotesque caricature. She isn't even speaking in her natural voice.

Her old look was so 90's she needed to get with the picture and embrace the new look. I was just so mad at the end when she said that all her clothing is going back to the old her...that's $5000 worth of hot clothing she doesn't care about. I'm sorry but she went from weird looking dumb blond to sexy stylish chic and she is dense for not seeing the difference.

There is nooo excuse for her to be looking the way she did at 29 years old. Are you kidding? She was dressing like a 14 year old MySpace whore. I was so excited to see her transformation and she looked incredibly beautiful afterwards without the trashy spider eyes and gross orange tan with the bleach blonde hair and pale pink lips. But the sad thing is that she went back to her old ways after the show and she said so at the end!

She was cute with the pooof and the eyelashes, and stuff.. I didnt like her lipgloss, but her after makeoveer was amazingg! She was still pretty and all.. But she didnt look like the type of girl to care about all the makeup! I was like wooow ! Stacy's right! You never wouldve known what she looked like! Ever since i first saw the commercial for this episode ive been dying to see it! And i felt accomplished when i did XD it really was a big changee!

Pretty certain a career and a future in that career are two entirely different things. Didn't mean to offend your friend, but suggest that getting ahead (promotions) are more more difficult if you look like Barbie. And while one may have a lot of friends, dating is also different and as equally difficult.

your right. but right for those who have the desire to be promoted and not do what they love to do now. and dating would be a challenge for this look. but even with all of that....people need to do what they feel good about doing as long as they are good to others and have morals. we may not like her look but she does and in the end shes not hurting anyone and she is living her life. i just hate how the world tells us to "be" to be accepted.

What a beautiful, wonderful person! Denise is super secure in who she is - just because what she likes to wear is not "main stream" doesn't mean she's hiding anything. She is by far the least "artificial" person person I have EVER met! Just because YOU may not wear what she does means nothing. She is so incredibly compassionate, good hearted person & she would NEVER judge someone - anyone, stranger or friend - for what they wear. She loves bling. So, what?! This is a huge lesson in not judging!

When we saw beneath all that make up, she really was absolutely beautiful. I hope that this experience did teach her that she doesn't need to over do everything. Plus, she's got an hilarious sense of humor.

At least she's comfortable with who she is and how she dresses. Personally I would not dress this way, partially because I wouldn't know where to begin, but I do like that she's doing something that she's happy with. Sure it doesn't blend with most people's brand of "normal" or "fashionable", but hey, she's comfortable with what she's wearing.

that could be but really one can say that about someone who drives nicer cars then others, has a larger home, has a larger stone in their ring. does it really matter what a stranger feels about us? they wont be at our funeral. the people who love her and are in her life know that shes not empty inside. and "bad" bad for who? she seems happy...happier than anyone that ive seen. i know plenty of people that dont look like her and are so very empty and artificial.

you are 100% right!! i felt so sorry for her..they were so mean. shes obviously not mean to anyone and seems happy. some things i did take in that they said was that after the make over they could focus on her funny personality instead of being distracted by "stuff" i agree with that. and the figuring out "who she is" thing. otherwise...i love this girl....everyone needs to be more like her!! we work at the same airport. i cant wait to run into her again

When I've seen Denise on the empl bus at work I tried not to stare. She stands out. I wondered if she knew what she looked like. Felt embarrassed for her. NOW....Her personality after seeing her on tv rocks. She cracks me up!! She is not a "cookie cutter kind of girl" and I think she should look like whatever she wants to and what makes her feel good. If she were doing Gyaru, she would have called it that. She doesn't have Gyaru make-up AT ALL. The lashes, and shadow are all wrong for Gyaru. She looks like your typical bimbo who just HAPPENS to have teased and curled hair. Her clothes and accessories could pass for Gyaru but that's only because the style itself copies American valley girl to a certain extent. Stop labeling something if you know nothing about the label which you're giving.

This episode was so uncomfortable and sad to watch. Denise needs a therapist immediately. I suspect she was traumatized in some way, and is hiding behind this grotesque caricature. She isn't even speaking in her natural voice.
