The romantic guitar has a really delicious sound! Congratulations for your wonderful instrument and for your playing, Luthval, your videos are awesome.
Thanks for the comment. The instrument was made in 1800, in France, Mirecourt style. Very early pre-romantic guitar. watch this video for a closer view :
One problem though; I can't watch your video. My computer is sooo slow; It took more than ten minutes to loads this screen, so probably a couple more hours before I can see your video.
I have a new laptop next week, so I will watch it later. But I trust it's a great video. Val = quality.
Is it your computer or your internet connexion that is slow ? I hope you can listen to it.(but in fact it seems slow to you because I play it slowly... lol)
No the internet connection here is really very fast. I live in a student flat and we have an excellent network here. My computer is 10 years old! I use Windows '98. Poor me! I will listen to this when I'm with my mum next weekend, or earlier when I get my laptop!

is the neck board not raised? that may be why you are playing with that technique...?
asekr2 3 years ago
I'm using old technic, as lutherie, technics were not the same during ages, modern technic is quite new, and will change tone day too...

Bonjour Roger,
