music was so much better when it was written about people, emotions, experiences and written for enjoyment. now its about being famous and money which has completely ruined the music industry, i hate 99% of all new music and refuse to contribute any of my money to them and their fat cat puppet masters.
lol this song is so funny. couldn't stop laughing once me and my friends heard that one guy screaming at the top of his lungs in the back. i think its paul haha
I always wish they had done a full version of this song based on the beginning verse -- a full-on rock version. Such a great beginning. The rest is fun as a novelty...
@queenjaneapprox im glad someone pointed that out. seems like nowadays only comments on youtube are people tryin to get thumbs up or arguments..rip brian jones..and lennon, hendrix and harrison for that matter
95% of teens these days listen to the same crappy pop songs over and over. if your one of the 5% left who still listen to real music, thunb this up, then copy and paste it to least 5 video's. DONT LET THE SPIRIT OF ROCK & ROLL DIE
I call those crappy pop songs "Manufactured Mumbo Jumbo". Most of it all sounds the same. But I will say that I do think there are some very talented new artists out there. Hard to find, but they are out there.
@lewiswillingham stop asking for thumbs up. you only look like a retard. also, i listen to whatever the fuck i want. third, beatles and shit are still awesome, but if people want to listen to something else, they will.
telling them what to do just makes you look like a complete asshole.
The more I hear this whole "95% of teens" thing, the more I believe those statistics are a load of BULLSHIT. I can think of plenty of teens who still listen to real music.
My dad is 45 years old and remembers this being the b-side to the Let it Be single when it was basically new. Oh, and one last thing; good evening and welcome to slackers.
Brilliant. Paul and John take turns on vocals. It was their favorite recording. It started when John and Brian Jones laid down the track. Then years later, when was going solo, he brought Paul and Ringo and Yoko into the studio and had a blast! Because of contract obligations with Apple Records, it was released as The Beatles, but John and Paul wanted it to be The Goons. Hilarious!
this song is from 1967...the reason for it being used is that John wanted to use the tune on his B-side when Paul learned of this he opt to put it on the back of Let It Be the 45...remember Let It be didn't come out for almost a full year after the fact....
Dennis O'Dell is not in this song. And Ringo plays drums but doees not sing. What is thought of as Dennis O'Dell and Ringo in this song is actually Paul.

I think the music of the 60s just knew how to have fun. The kids of today think that know how to have fun, but they are really serious.
