WRC are all 4WD and not based on cars you can buy. The Citroen DS3 you can buy is not 4WD, same for the Ford Fiesta, etc. Peugeot 205 was a great car in Group B rally because it was based on the 205 T16, a special car built for group B racing, with mid-engine, 4WD, etc, totally different from the "normal" 205.

@benbmxfr I think though that's because it was based on a FWD production car, not because it was good for performance :) And that production car wasn't a race car. I don't HATE fwd, it's good because it's cheap and a bit safer on the roads for your average driver, but it's not for racing imho.
