For every attempt on a submission there was a defence or a counter which was showing great technique, a few slams, leg kicks etc, also 2 choke attemptes. Also the position being on top would of made ground and pound an opion with gavin followed the rules the promoter had set and didn't strike even when he had the position 2! good fair well match fight, nice to see! excellent for the sport !

just watched this fight and was wondering what fight the ref. was watching? Neeson, when i counted had 4 attempted submissions on the first round and in the second i think i seen 4 or 5 with 2 take downs.. Davies on the other hand.. What did he have? 1 take down in the second when he caught Neesons foot from a kick that he hit him with... In my eyes and any 1 else that has any clue about the sport Neeson won that fight EASY!!!!...round 1 and 2..
