Thanks for posting this vid, i had this phone and got a new one, sony err mini pro x 10, after two failed faulty phones i was sent the nokia c6, and its so borning, nothing like the mini pro whihc i thought was great, but it was permintaly dowloading and i was being charged a fortune, my bill should have been between 40 and 50 pounds, after i got the mini it went up to over 150 pounds !! contract phone with mini pro seems to be a problem,so beware,these mini pros can have serious problems

If you are even thinking about getting this phone, stop right now. It is the worst piece of garbage i have ever used. And i totally regret getting it. It is sooo slow, you touch something and it takes about 10-20 seconds to load it. Even clicking the end button to get back to the home screen takes about 15 seconds. Do not get this piece of garbage

New Omnia is supposed to be better but after all these stupid widgets popped up all over the place, I went back to Droid. Now THAT is a phone. Google is on a "next level" with whatever they do so, this phone is gonna be even better in the future. Pretty sure I'm getting it. Motorola Droid that is.

I would go with the Omnia since you cld get it to 32GB of storage which is more than the Nokia. Also, the symbian OS for Nokia is old, i prefer windows mobile where you can download 100s of apps for free. and so much more. but thats according to my expectations.

I have the verizon version of this phone as well. That screen is available on the upgraded rom from samsung. However, you cannot upgrade the verizon version of the omnia unless verizon releases their version of the rom upgrade. Which they have not.... I dont think id ever get another smart phone through verizon. Too restricted and no support.

Just download sbp shell. It was the best thing I ever did for the phone. I almost sold it before I got it. Google It

I don't think verizon will sell you the phone without a data plan.. which sucks.. I think you can buy a used phone from Ebay and activate it from Verizons website. I think I'm doing that with a Treo 755p.

You can add the mobile internet explorer App to any windows mobile machine (I'm nearly positive) and to that app you can add a plugin that allows youtube to open up the phone's media player. HOWEVER. Depending on if this specific phone's media player is supported is a different thing entirely. The Samsung SCH i170 (or something) is supported.
