True, but as we saw for GT5 Prologue, without enough track diversity, it becomes boring...

GT5 will be so much more than just a "race simulator", track editor, GTtv, livery editor, tuning options, switching engines are parts of the experience. And after spending about 500+ hours on racing, I would be glad to still enjoy each lap I do thanks to the gorgeous graphics and (I hope) tracks animated with life.

the cars look like glass. I looked at real cars driving by my house and they didn`t look like glass. Also when i see cars crash which is rare but sometimes i do, the cars do bounce off the wall at 200+mph they get smashed up into tin cans not loose 10 mph and still drive away with a fuckin bumper hanging off. Im getting forza 3 for one reason and one only. Not for graphics for a good simulater because in gt5 the cars are a big clump of invinsible rock with wheels.

the damage/collision engine isn't done yet; Kaz/Polyphony have stated this multiple times since this demonstration. However, Forza 3's damage engine IS done, and what you said about cars being "smashed up into tin cans" in real life is not what happens in Forza 3. Bash a game that's still in development if you want, but don't praise a game that doesn't fix those problems, treating it as if it did.

Surely the most important part of the game is the driving experience and the overall beauty of it? Forza 3 looks like plastic garbage andf it has no Rally, no Nascar, no nothing but RROD, 360 is a defective crap.

Forza 3 and GT5 are similar but Gran Turismo 5 has Nascar( 43 cars), while forza has nothing else.

Graphics are better in GT5 b/c forza has lighitng defects and just that Gran Turismo 5 is developed by a well respected studio.

However, GT5 has that crappy tire screeching noise.

Im getting PS3 when I sell my shit wii, and this is the first game im getting.

if forza is doing real-time tire deformation then i think gt should as well. it only makes sense. also damage should be hyper-realistic if its gonna be used. anything less is not a true 100% sim. fun or not, damage is either real or not. i would choose hyper-realism over crappy arcade gameplay any day

I'm sure Kazunori Yamauchi knows what a true simulation game needs because he was a driver himself so if there is anything needed for a perfected simulated game he would provide it in GT5. So I'm sure he'll put real-time tire deformation since this is about simulation.

Back then he never raced in real life back in GT4 days that's why GT4 is still not as realistic as it should, but in the pass 5 years Kaz had gained a ton of experienced about racing, so I'm sure that experience will transferred to how GT5 will be made and how realistic it will be..

Yeah that will be cool but those are minor features. I would really like car damage to all cars even though the 170 would have it but implementing it on other car would be awesome too even though they just put it in there without animating or whatever they do with it. Dynamic weather is a big one to when it comes to 24 hour races and all that other long races.
