@cerzzz Ryan has been to evo and done extremely well. In 09 he made it out of pools into the top 32 which is like winning a major considering there was so many people. The pools were 160 people deep. This year he came one round away from making it out of his pool again with even MORE competitors than last year.

I just found it odd that someone would ciriticise people's support for the challenger. Supporting Daigo is fine though. Both Ryan and Daigo played very well. Both of them are good players in my opinion. I personally think that Daigo's better (although I'm from the UK), but he made a mistake during the fight. He only had some bad luck.
And gosh, some people are so rude during the tournament. For example, at 5:45-5:47-'Who is Daigo? I don't know Daigo'. I know. And at 5:52-'Japan is nothing'.

@GatDayume, derp indeed. Anyway I love to see long time champions lose, it reflects my desire to see things change and shift in all things political, social, and sporting. I just found it odd that someone would ciriticise people's support for the challenger. Supporting Daigo is fine though. I feel that he'll lose consistantly to another Ryu player someday, as Ryu seems to be the perfect character.

Both Ryan and Daigo played very well. Both of them are good players in my opinion. I personally think that Daigo's better (although I'm from the UK), but he made a mistake during the fight. He only had some bad luck.
And gosh, some people are so rude during the tournament. For example, at 5:45-5:47-'Who is Daigo? I don't know Daigo'. I know. And at 5:52-'Japan is nothing'.
