SAAB 9-3 SS HKS SSQV BOV

I have the vectra with this turbo in and that ( bov ) is a waist of time £££ and effort ,, plus gets annoying after a while... Should have just took your air intake off fited a cold air intake and just had a grunt noise with the turbo (chatter/spool) noise also this turbo has a standard bov as most cars do 97 onwords sounds beter and discreet... This is just my thoughts but,,, every ones DIFFRENT

youll throw codes did this to my 03' saab 93 and engine would sputter and wouldnt start had to have it removed and a new hose put in

dont saabs dump the excess pressure into the intake ?

isnt this somewhat detrimental to performance

If its t7 you fail horribly... if its a t5 BOV will work

@Roadrash1991 hey dumbass its rice because SAABs have a redirecting valve to recycle back pressure to the turbo to keep it spooled. This kid jimmy rigged a BOV on that GM engine. In turn that will blow off the back pressure and does not help the boost at all infact it will rob him of power. Its rice because he is giving up power to get a pooosh sound dumbass. Last time i checked thats rice.

@blinkidpv i dont believe that he is losing power with this mod... notice the black hoseline running out of the back of the HKS BOV, if I am correct that recirculates the air... this is def a custom job. i effing HATE rice.. but this seems like garage engineering from a couple of guys lookin for somethin to do, and it just might have worked

@Uglyducksgethot: The black line coming out the back is the vacuum line for the bov... not the recirculation hose. That would come off the front of the bov which requires a recirculation fitting.

actually you can use an HKS/ SYNAPSE type blow off valves with the trionic 7 inline fours!....Just be shure you get the recirculation kit available through both so the air can by-pass just like stock or a forge.

Will only work on Saab 9-3 V6 turbo not inline 4 due to the engine management found in the 4cyl.

This doesnt improve anything yet it doesnt really effect this engine

Are you sure you're posting for the right vid? Because everything you just said is false.

True BOV's are not meant to be used on T7 saabs, but they work just fine on a T5.

And turbo V6's weren't introduced until 2006.
