My tribute to the wonderful voice of Mr Harry Stewart

I saw Harry Stewart singing today in NYC (1/23/12) sounding just sensational. I've known him since the 1980s and I can vouch that Harry personally wrote "End of My Journey" based on his own life struggles and faith. Please pray that Harry's wonderful talent might reach more people and that he'd get paid for it.

It's so sad to hear about his drug abuse. I didn't know about this until now. What an amazing voice that just goes to waste. I cannot believe he hasn't had a hit record. I hope he's getting help.

I met Harry in NYC several years ago at the Bowery Mission while there on a mission trip. He sang for us several times but shortly after we left he dropped out and was back on the streets using again. I have not been able to find him since. If anyone knows how to get a hold of Harry let me know I'd be happy to help him out.

I had thepleasure of talking to Harry steward we was in a drug rehab when i first meet him, he was down to earth later in life i would see him singing in the subways i would stop and talk to him. I would try to talk to him but Harry is Harry we would always wound up leaving each other saying, ( I'll see you in Hollywood) I did stand-up back then, and just in case you are wondering i'm working on 18 years drug free, So to Harry I'll see you in Hollywood my friend
