@ClubPenguinNewsGuy4u Wi-Fi is done through a router you own or at an internet café (i.e. Starbucks, or some other place). I'm not sure if it's free there, but I do know you pay for your own router and internet connections. In other words, yes, you do pay for Wi-Fi. And most often times the password is on the bottom of the router, if not check the manual or on the box somewhere.

If it is your own wifi network then you should know the password, assuming you're using one (which you should).  If it's someone else's network you'll need to get the password from them, unless they're not using one.

I think this only works with laptop computers cause I really cant figure out how to make it work in a desktop.

my computer connects to the network but it doesnt find it, tried it in two desktops (with wierless cards)and no results, tried it with a laptop and it worked like a charm.

@TheFlex21 I'm sure the provider of your phone has a password for it, which I assume is AT&T. Just give them I call and ask how to set up 3G on your phone. If you're talking about Wi-Fi, the password is either in the manual of the router you have, or (like mine) on the bottom of the router.
