"Ice Queen" has become very popular in the belly dance world. I don't know where to get the music, but perhaps you could find out on the belly dance superstars website. One of their dancers used it in an amazing choreography.

I really like your performance! You three girls are good dancers! Really nice veil jobi ;) However, the girl on the right, with the white skirt, your veil looks too big. Maybe a shorter veil would be better.

thanks!!!! well, the one in white is me (it is blue actually :p but i know the vid quality isnt brilliant!) i'm 1,70m and thought that lenght was appropiate as i used to have a shorter veil and it didnt look very nice... maybe u are right, i dont know... im not a proffesional :)

It's really hard to dance with a veil in a group, and you did pretty well. I like that the start of the dance was different for the dancers - it shows that this is troupe choreography. However, it would have been nice to see more variation throughout the dance (especially since some of the dance was repetition.) The woman in white also needs to make her movements bigger!

A pretty good performance. However, many times the moves didn't really match the music, ie moves lagged and music moved. Also, the veil work was essentially choreographed for half the song and repeated later. Plus, the veils were dropped at the end!! The veil is your prop, even "partner" for the dance, enhancing your visual performance. When you drop it, it looks like your dirty laundry; and a performer loses the 'larger than life' magic that comes with a veil performance.

I'm not sure I agree with c1a2k3e4 - veils can be a lot of things, and in Egyptian style dance is often dropped quite early on in the performance.

Don't be discouraged by some of the comments made on here - it's also very difficult to be 'passionate' when you're dancing in a trio - some of the passion gets lost as you ensure you remain in time.

I enjoyed the performance, and see it's a year ago - I wonder what you'd be like now?!!

hi! thanks :) i like reciving nice and not so nice reviews.. thats why i uploaded the videos anyway. im not a professional at all, i take it as a hobbie but like giving my best and trying harder each time. that choreo was for a contest so i had lots of pressure on me, that should also be understood.i have more recent videos, u can judge by urself hehe
