The 16th hole..290 yard driveable par 4...Urkel hit Driver a little short of pin high. Phil CARRIED his 3 wood..past Urkel's driver..in the air!!!
The 14 hole Mickelson killed it and did hit it a long way past Tiger and Watney. The 16th was different, I doubt you payed much attention to the tournament but that hole is a classic case of driver being too long and 3 wood too short. Now days there are a number of players that hit it longer than his 3 wood and his controlled driver swing. But like I said, when he wants too he can hit it as far as anyone. Thats obvious to anyone who watches golf regularly. Tigers putting seperates him, as well as his entire short game, and his irons.

You think your a bit of a funnyman don't you, your knowledge of golf is certainly laughable. Tiger has always been one of the longest hitters, his stats prove that. If you watch much golf it is evident that he is one of the longest hitters. This year is somewhat of an exception because he has been recovering from knee surgery, but he is still a relatively long hitter and he is getting that distance back. What your saying is complete nonsense to be honest.

I did, and Phil didn't really. Furthermore Phil is one of the longest hitters now, as Watney is also. And Tiger tended to be a little further than Watney when they both used driving. Thus proving Tiger can be described at least as a fairly long hitter.

LOL...Are you still in denial??? Mickelson Bombed it by Urkel Woods...all day long. The 14th hole was a long straight par 5, Urkel Woods hit his best drive, twirled his club and picked up his tee. Then Mickelson hit it 40 YARDS past him. Urkel had to hit 3 wood for his second shot..Phil hit a middle iron.
The 16th hole..290 yard driveable par 4...Urkel hit Driver a little short of pin high. Phil CARRIED his 3 wood..past Urkel's driver..in the air!!!

The 14 hole Mickelson killed it and did hit it a long way past Tiger and Watney. The 16th was different, I doubt you payed much attention to the tournament but that hole is a classic case of driver being too long and 3 wood too short. Tiger tried to hit a cut driver, which you should know takes a lot of distance off. Mickelson tried to crush a 3 wood instead. Thats just two different ways of playing an approach.

In regards to the 16th hole...your arguement is flawed, severely. Now...I agree with you...Eldrick couldnt have reached that hole with a 3 wood...and had to resort to hitting a "cut" driver. But for Phil, the 3 wood was actually TOO much club...he flew it by Urkel...in the air!!! Phil could've hit 2 iron to the green.

Tiger could have tried to crush a 3 wood like Phil did or hit the cut driver. The cut driver was a better play. Say what you like and add as many "lmfao" as you want but I know Tigers game a lot better than you. Phil probably hits it a little further than him at the moment but we will see if thats still the case in 2010.

Phil is a phony because he puts on a public front, he pretends to be someone he is not. Thats fine. But I respect Tiger for showing his emotions for better and for worse, it makes him more interesting in my opinion. The thing is I don't dislike Phil, you clearly have some random thing agaisnt Tiger. Although I can imagine that if my favourite player got beaten by one guy so often, I would start to resent that player. So I guess that explains it.

Yes.. Mickelson beat Tiger at HSBC, but Tiger tends to win the head to heads. You say some very odd things epscially your one about Tigers name, I'm not really going to go into that. Like I said I like Phil and I'm not going to slag off a great player like you choose too. But I'm not sure where these "most accounts" come from, its fairly well known tha Phil has a few nicknames on tour and they are not nice. Tiger plays with emotion for better or for worse, thats fun to watch for me.

Monty is considered to have a grumpy demeanor, whereas Tiger shows a variety of emotions whether its good or bad. Of course I knew his name was Eldrick it just completely irrelevant. Its funny that you use the 09 Masters as an example of Phil getting the best of Tiger, Tiger was swinging it awfully and Phil was playing the best I have probably ever seen him, and I think Phil only beat him by one. That says something right there.

He threw his driver at the ground, clearly it rebounded into the gallery. I thought it was kinda funny. Talking of 270 yard drives, he hit an iron 270 on Saturday. I'm guessing you may have also missed the 350 yard drive as well. I don't consider 270 yard irons, and 350 yard drives short hitting to be honest, but you obviously see things differently to me... and the rest of the golfing world.

Yes, I realize the club hit the ground..before it went hurling into the gallery. But think about it..You almost have to TRY to bounce your driver into the gallery like that. I think it is in Eldrick's DNA...to be so uncivilized.
In regards to Eldrick's 270 yardish drives..it is summertime in Australia..the fairways are like cement..the ball goes forever. 350 yards..under those conditions..is very average. Let us not forget what occured on the 14th hole at the HSBC..shall I remind you?

The REAL Reason why Tiger is good at golf...
Tiger is no Where near the Longest hitter..he is prob. slightly above average, distance wise.
Tiger is No Where the Straightest Hitter..he is prob. slightly below Tour average.
Tiger is a very good iron player..has all the shots. He has a very good short game..more conventional than Phil's flashy short game.
What seperates Tiger..is that he is the best putter.And Tiger's personality is that of a Tightwad, every stroke is the end of the world.

I agree, Phil is a more natural talen and shot maker. What seperates Tiger from everyone today is his work ethic and desire. He wants to be the best. Tiger between the ears is so much better then any one today. I would love to see him Tiger amd Jack go at it, I think Jack would win.

As much as I like Philly Mick (my favourite after Weir), there's no comparison, and that doesn't just apply to head-to-head between the two. We say "Well, what if there was no Tiger?". Even if that were the case, Phil would still only have the '02 US open title to his credit.

Tiger has stomped Phil for there to be any comparison. Sure Phil is a great golfer, but Tiger is the best there ever was. That's the difference.
Watch Tiger over the next couple years. He's going to break Sam Sneed's tournament record, and he's going to break Jack's major record. It's only a matter of time.
And, while your watching your Tiger do it, your going to see some of the most amazing golf you've ever seen.
