A Long Hair Group I belong to has found the best way to get good data on hair growth is to always measure your hair growth the same way. Using a flexible measuing tape, if you start in the middle of your forehead where the hair first starts growing, go over your head down the middle, and continue down your back to the end of your hair. Of course you will not be able to do this yourself, but the data you get will be much more reliable.

I heard that chopping up onions and letting it sit in your shampoo for a few days would make it grow more, too... Just in case you needed more ideas.(: Ha, I bet your hair would stink afterwards, though.(:

I get how split ends are really gross, and take alot of nutriments to repair and prevent, but cutting off your split ends doesn't HELP your hair grow, your hair grows from the roots (your head), which means it'll do fine without cutting your split ends, but you'll have to deal with gross strawy ends.. I'm not saying you shouldn't cut your split ends, because you should, but I'm just stating that it won't HELP your hair grow, it'll make it LOOK healthier.

(not cancer) anywho, I found hair,skin and nails formula supplements at Dollar General fr $4.00. Yes you read that right, I was paying $10.00 for mine a pop. This has really helped with replenishment. Keep up the good vids.

@MicheleAnneNails You may not want to use those supplements. There's a reason they're at the dollar store. Normally there isn't even any proof that they are what they say they are. Most dollar store clerks and workers have no idea where the supplied items are coming from. Supplements are even more risky, so if I were you I would not use the supplements.

i straighten my hair almost everyday! it still grows quite alot, i just condition it alot, eat well and shit. i am trying to grow it out a little bit cas a hairdresser messed it up! lol i dont want it really long just pass my shoulder.....

@xMusicLove1 i wouldnt do it short, because i know id personally hate it and regret it every day until it grew back. just have like an inch trimmed off each time (like every 2 months) and itll still grow longer, but youll slowly loose the damaged bits!

@xMusicLove1 do what i did, chop it and get extensions. i had the exact same problem and needed to chop at least four inches off and my hair was above my shoulders afterwards, so then i got extensions and BAM problem solved:)
