I was only 4 when Tommy cam out. But I got to see them later in life as a teenager in NYC play or movie ..not sure. But they had been out of my life for 30 years until the super bowl. WOW..what a rush! I forgot how much this album meant to me back then, and now how Ironic it all is! Great job on the music, . A rush of memories, people, and places. I will get the DVD in Hollywood Ca. tomorrow, and enjoy this again..wow..what head rush!

Hey I first saw The Who in 1971 (7th grade) when Who's Next came out here in New Orleans. My best friend & I have followed them a long time & will continue to do so. We knew the Saints would win the Super Bowl in 2010 because "The Who" was playing & New Orleans is "The Who Dat Nation!"
Probably, all in all.. The best rock album of all time... The Who in their prime.. Moon at his best.. Townsend a genius, amazing.. Thanks for putting it up!
This is one fo the songs i think are better in the film version of the album. Both have daltrey singing it but i think this explosive vocals and just the overall sounds of the song os more of how i would expect a person to act after being cured.
haha maybe that sounds weird but just check out the film version and see if you agree
I saw Roger do this live last night and I've listened to this twice already tonight while doing homework---and now it''s all stuck in my head!

Is it just me, or does Moon miss his cue at the beginning? I can't figure out the up/down beat for the life of me. Ha

I love listening to Tommy again. I'm Free is one of my fave Who songs. They just may have been the best band in the world in the late 60's.
