  • John is every bit as good a musician as Lou. Actually, Lou said so too. Just excellent in this song!

  • His voice is not for this europian song, better to some more anglosaxonic romantic... celtic dreamy... MAY I? or something of John Dowland...

  • John Cale sounded amazing here!

  • Cales vocal were the highlight of that tour...everybody knows it!!!!

  • Yeah, you're right--Reed's vocals were just "off" during this reunion tour--like he was doing a different arrangement of the songs than the band was was playing.

  • Brilliant. Thanks for uploading.

  • yeah Cale is good on this one and it's played so lovely on next to the last time by the original band

  • Thanks for posting these VU clips from the Prague gig ('93).. I saw them in London... by pure chance got tickets, for me and my one time girlfriend, front row, right in the centre (the workings of Karma!)! Nobody deserved it more than me, they've been my favourite band since I was 13, in 1977. Lou Reed has lost the ability to sing as he used to, and John Cale has to be one of the greatest geniuses of R&R, his solo albums are fantastic.. shame that lots of people don't know...too bad...for them!

  • I saw them in milan 1993, superb gig, i'm sooo thankful for that! I remember Reed jumping on that stage like a boy and i compared him to an half aged (more or less) Axl Rose that wouldn't have stood for a second

  • Cales vocals were the highlight of that tour...

  • Lou's vocals were the highlight of the tour

  • I love this song^^,
