that hadiths is in relation to witr not any other salaah, and qunut may have been done in some salaahs but it wasnt a permanent thin, only when it was needed to be done by RasoolAllah (sal allah hu aleyhi wasalam, but the hadiths is in relation to witr.

okay tell me one thing from the ahadith I posted, in which prayer qunut was used to be recited AFTER RUKU? and in which prayer and rakaat u guys have been doing qunut AFTER RUKU ? the hadith from ibn majah is also about FAJR prayer and it DOES NOT have words of "WITR" but I know u don wanna accept it because that's the only daleel u have ...so lets say even if its for WITR prayer then from the ahadith it is clear that Nabi (Sallalahu Alaihi Wassalam) prayer qunut after RUKU only for ONE MONTH.

Hazrat Anas said, "He(Sallalahu Alaihi Wassalam) recited Qunut after bowing for some time (for one month)" and in the other hadith Anas(RA) said so and so said the UNTRUTH..."Allah's Apostle recited Qunut after bowing for a period of one month".

So if Nabi(Sallalahu Alaihi Wassalam) only prayed qunut AFTER RUKU for one month then why u wahabies keep doing it? AND WHAT ABOUT RAISING HANDS AND MAKING DUAA IN WITR (like normal duaa) AFTER RUKU, where is your proof ???????????

I quoted the exact text of ahadith from Bukhari which clearly contains the words "FAJR PRAYER" and if u claim that hadith from ibn majah is in relation to "WITR" then I challenge you to find me the words of "WITR" from the hadith of Ibn Majah, its rather u whoz twisting and skippng the words of hadith to prove ur self defined claim.

Alhemdulilah its not just you but rather no wahabi on earth can produce even one proof in which qunut was recited AFTER RUKU in "WITR".

The same Narrator i.e. Wa'il Ibn Hujr (RA) in Musnad-ul-Bazzar says instead of the term 'upon his chest' the words 'near his chest'

The same Narrator i.e. Wa'il Ibn Hujr (RA) in Musannaf-Ibn-Abi-Shavbah says instead of the term 'upon his chest' the words 'beneath the navel

Lets just work with the Narration of S'ahih-Ibn-Khuzamah because it is the only one with the words "upon his chest"

This hadeeth has been reported by Muammal bin Ismaeel from Sufyan al Thawri from Aasim bin Kulaib from Wail bin Hujr (ra) -However it is only Muammal who reports these additional words from Sufyan al Thawri. Sufyan's other student, Abdullah bin al Waleed who also narrates this hadeeth from him does not include these words in his narration as recorded in Imam Ahmad's Musnad. (Ahmad 18392)

Even in Sahih Muslim, narrated by Wai'l bin Hujr the additional words "upon his chest" are not there

Wa'il bin Hujr reported: He saw the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) raising his hands at the time of beginning the prayer and reciting takbir, and according to Hammam (the narrator), the hands were lifted opposite to ears. He (the Holy Prophet) then wrapped his hands in his cloth and placed his right hand over his left hand. And when he was about to bow down .... " Book 004, Number 0792

Ibn al Qayyim al Jawziyyah also writes in his Badai' al Fawaid, 'It is makrooh (undesirable) to place the hands on the chest in view of the narration that the Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) forbade takfeer, which is to place the hands on the chest.' (Bada'i al Fawa'id, 3/73)

Narrated Anas bin Malik The Prophet recited Qunut for one month (in the Fajr prayer) asking Allah to punish the tribes of Ral and Dhakwan. (Sahih Bukhari, Volume 2, Book 16, Number 117)

Narrated Anas: The Qunut used to be recited in the Maghrib and the Fajr prayers. (Sahih Bukhari, Volume 2, Book 16, Number 11)

Now there should be some addition to your common sense that, qunut was not only prayed in WITR ,but also it was used to be prayed in fajr prayer (which is called Qunut e Nazila)... and the hadith you gave is about qunut in fajr prayer. If you really think you follow the truth then find me one Sahih Marfuh hadees in which qunut was read after ruku (in WITR) and duaa was performed whilst raising hands.

Listen to the question again with ears wide open ... show one hadees of "WITR" in which qunut was read after ruku ... the hadees u've posted is regarding qunut in fajr prayer and this is qunut e Nazila. The Qunut al-Nazila (calamity supplication) is only performed in the fajr prayer, after the ruku, ideally without raising one's hands. In such a qunut, only, one would say amin quietly (without raising one's voice).

There is no qunut in any other prayer, or in the fajr prayer if it is not for a calamity. As such, one would not even say amin here, for it is not established that the Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) did so. He only did the qunut for a calamity, and only in the fajr prayer, and this is considered something exceptional.

It is an established principle of fiqh that rules deduced by analogy from exceptions; analogy (qiyas) may be used only with normal cases.
