@itishowitis91 2 weed films that ive never even seen before and ive been smoking weed everyday for over a year. marijuana is a beautiful herb that acts as great medicine.
For me, just the fact that smoking marijuana only affects the person doing it and doesn't hurt anyone else is a pretty good argument for it being legal.

It is logically inconsistent to say: "I don't care what people say, it's just a fact," because that means through confirmation bias, you are blinded to evidence contrary to your opinion. Stephen Baldwin has shown that he is a fucking idiot. Oh, and by the way, scientific studies have time and again disproven the marijuana "gateway theory."
Because if it's legal and sold cheaper at a store/dispensary of course you'd still go to the illegal dealer who's selling it at an extra 200 dollars! ^.^
what people don't realize is that the current "nanny-system" (as I've heard Ron Paul call it) also represses the process of natural selection. People shouldn't be protected by the government from harm that they induce themselves, because they aren't babies that need a baby-proof world. @DarkLionInteractive Then Paul is a goddamn hypocrite--what makes me libertarian is the same belief: personal liberty exists in direct proportion to personal responsibility; the less personal responsibility exists in a community, the less personal freedom. But that means I should not be held responsible for the outcome of potsmokers actions, which clearly IS the case in our HC, our social services, and in Mexican violence. Paul's begging for LESS personal responsibility.
i channel the energy to slow things down when going fast through bending roads and crazy hair pin turns throughout the area i reside, forest's an stuff. I guess you could call it slowing down the mind thought process to complete harmony, and just drive and feel the road through the finger tips. People, just breath.
@SpaceCraftPilot99 Never drive if you're under the influence of something. Not everyone is the same because I personally can't drive for shit while high on weed, so I no longer drive high. That's just my opinion.
Ron Paul can suck it. If he believes that you can just do whatever the hell you want, he's not a libertarian. The greatest threat to personal liberty in this country comes from the burden of too many idiots doing just that--whatever the hell they want--and leaving the costs with the rest of us.
If you believe pot has no social, human, or economic costs, sing your tale in Juarez.
@thereinliestherib in juarez thousands die yearly in drug wars, it has nothing to do with weed being dangerous (which is a myth), its all because its illegal. making something illegal doesnt make it go away, it just means criminals are gonna make money off of it, in mexico the drug lords are more powerful than the goverment cuz of the stupid laws, they grow dope and sell it to us, and they buy their guns froim us and sell them back hme, LEGALIZATION PUTS THEM OUT OF BUISNESS, do some research
No you idiot. Its because you keep pumping your welfare dollars into marijuana, which composes over 70% of the drug trade. You can't win a drug war when your country is full of dopers who fund the other side. The claim that legalization will "put the cartels out of business" is totally false, sophomore level economic reasoning. The cartels should DESIRE legalization for the increased demand and prices it will create.
@Jiggleton That's it? That's really all you have? And what part of my argument--none of which you've addressed--is emotional? You're a tool, and you're no libertarian either.
@thereinliestherib when did I say I was a libertarian? are you retarded? and you responded to the question posed of "people abuse other prescriptions" against you complaining that you had to pay for peoples marijuana with WELL BAWWWW MY BROTHER DIED DAT WAY. if your brother shared your intelligence level, perhaps it was for the best.
@Jiggleton Nice--thanks for insulting my dead brother, as a grounds for questioning my intelligence. I'm sure you don't see the contradiciton there, otherwise you wouldn't have posted such a thing. What a laughable idiot--and I'd like to hear you say such a thing in real life. You'd get about halfway.
@Jiggleton And why should I, as a HC consumer, have to pay for others recreational use of MJ?? I have nothing against ACTUAL medicinal MJ, but everyone and their friggin grandma knows its a farce for recreational users.
@thereinliestherib I think that if a legal marijuana system is established and the illegal trade is still banned, marijuana will eventually occupy a position in the economy similar to that of alcohol.... and what's the harm in that?
@DarkLionInteractive Believe it or not, I don't think MJ by itself is extremely harmful, at least compared with the likes of alcohol (which does, however, equate it with the same quantity of problems). But the fact is, the MJ trade doesn't occur in a vacuum, and the premises set up to justify legalization are baseless and downright false. Legalization will increase demand while increasing prices--what else can then happen, but an invigoration of illicit markets/violence???
@thereinliestherib How would it increase prices or demand increase. Over 50% of the general populace supports legalization? Represent us and our change of beliefs, not a set of laws put out for all the wrong reasons. An ounce of Marijuana can be grown for about $20 - $50. Street price is $320-$400 near me.
@U83R8UDDH4 That stat is complete BS, and reflects Americans' lack of self-respect and willingness to follow pop-cult trends. Only a minority of Americans smoke pot, so the stat itself is questionable, to say the least. Across the board, history shows that legalization increases demand. I don't find it all surprising that during an economic crisis precipitated by unaccountable personal behavior, we have such large numbers of Americans asking for yet less personal accountability.
Please, you seem so full of ignorance. Google American marijuana legalization support and it will come up with sources directing that the general public is in more support in marijuana legalization than prohinition. Approximately 41 percent of americans have smoked cannabis. That is no small number. Show me how legalization has increased the demand? If prohibition does not stop the use or even stem the nonetheless increased use over 40 years and costing billions. This is a failure
@U83R8UDDH4 Majoritarianism proves nothing about the purely hypothetical claims made about MJ. And frankly, the support stat doesn't at all surprise me, because most Americans lack much self-esteem, and have been conditioned into this drug cult of MJ, even though few people actually smoke it. Personally, that's what I find weird--that few smoke, yet many support. Kind of makes those who don't look like idiotic followers.
@thereinliestherib It proves that the government is not a true representative government of the people, and shows that washington is almost completely separated from peoples' beliefs. Most Americans lack self esteem? What does this have to do with cannabis? back up why you support prohibition with some facts. Prohibition does not, has not, and will never work
@U83R8UDDH4 Low-selfesteem = drug abuse. You want me to back up my claims abotu prohibition, and its quite simple. Your dollars directly fund a drug war that has claimed the lives of over 50k people. The burden of evidence is on the legalization crowd to prove how, by some counterfactual economic magic, legalization (which means both higher costs and demand) will not simply either enhance or entrench the illicit market. The claims are YOURS, and thus the BURDEN OF EVIDENCE.
@thereinliestherib Drug abuse can be a symptom, but what do you define as abuse? The black market would not exist if prohibition didnt exist. Therefore as say someone wanting a drink during prohibition. It didnt stop the demand, so supply will be provided by criminals, price will increase as lack of supply. Legalization would bring production on a vast commercial scale, driving supply up meeting with demand, driving prices down. basic economics.
@U83R8UDDH4 "The black market would not exist if prohibition didnt exist."
DATA PLEASE. Why do so many people insist on believing in made-up fantasies? If you provide the data, I'll be compelled to believe what you say is true--why is this not the standard anymore?
@thereinliestherib Simple look into the past. What made Al Capone so rich? Prohibition of alcohol. What is making The Zetas so well funded? The prohibition of Marijuana. Prohibition of the growing of cannabis makes less supply, and drives up prices as the demand for the product exists. Guess who then creates the supply, and thus gets the wealth?. Do I have to pull up charts on the supply/demand of hemp pre-1930' as compared to prohibition thereafter? I thought that this was common sense
@U83R8UDDH4 What is making the Zetas so well-funded is because YOU KEEP GIVING THEM YOUR MONEY. Its amazing how incapable the legalization crowd is of admitting this, even when their own arguments imply its reality. It's pretty hard to "win" a drug war when people like you fund the opposition. And please, show me how legalization will cause any of it to go away--be a big boy and provide quantitative facts, not hypothetical, counter-economic BS.
@thereinliestherib BUT IT WOULD NOT OCCUR IF CANNABIS WERE NEVER MADE ILLEGAL! I CAN USE ALL CAPS TOO. That aside our money woulkd be going to the farmers and american businesses if it had not been made illegal. Cannabis should never had been prohibited( I dare you to give me legitimate reasons), with many of the claims made by the government and proven false. Prohibition shifted what our money went to. That is not hypothetical bullshit. That is quantitative fact proven by history!
@Funabdul Are you serious? You just drew an equivalence which only forwards the point that pot should be restricted, just as alcohol. If you acknowledge the costs of alcohol, then you acknowledge those of pot. And if you're trying to imply that pot isn't as "impairing" (much moreso) than alcohol, then you are high.
The freedom, peace and prosperity movement is gaining momentum. Now is the time to step up our efforts.
Ron Paul can and will win IF we all get behind him and give it our all. One man can't do it alone. This is our fight, our cause, our future. The Founding Fathers pledged "our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor". It will take nothing less today.
I think Ron Paul just wants to light up a nice fat doob as President in his pimped office stroking a fury wall trippinz ballz listening to Beatles haha keeeeeeeen
"No i don't think that is a good strategy to grow our economy" But, apparently an economy based almost entirely on a non renewable resource is a good idea.
Ron Paul will never win because the number of idiots in this country greatly outnumbers those that are intelligent. So all of those idiots/retards will vote for romney or newt or some other shitty candidate and it will always be like this which is why im considering getting the fuck out of this beautiful country controlled by fucking idiots.
Legalization is a bad idea - solely because once cannabis is legalized, you'll have Anheuser Busch duking it out with Pfizer to create a more expensive, far inferior product. No thanks. Decriminalization makes more sense.
Who the fuck is stephen baldwin to say whether reefer should be kept illegal? Fuck him, Ron Paul has the right view on things, he's a senator, baldwin is just a shitty actor :/
how can our own president make jokes about people emailing him about the legalization of marijuana? shouldn't he be proud that citizens are speaking up about issues they care about???
@russo256 its too late bro romney and santorum are running the republican debates ron paul not gonna even be in the run for president lol that sucks pot heads are gonna be sad face but maybe in the future
its not hysterical , hysterectomies will not cure it , it is not a prolapsed uterus. maybe a testectomy will cure the prostateral rants. Racism and border politics may come into play since marijuana plants grown in mexico. what about other countries and their exports. Would you outaw coffee because of its effects or columbian american politics?
Why are they asking an actor anyway? What an insult to the American public. Just because they can bring us entertainment does not give them a right to speak as an authority.
my friend got a dui for driving high they found his grinder and took him to the hospital and had blood drawn id have told the pig to bit my ass when they said i was going to the hospital for blood work.
Who cares if people smoke it, I want to use it for my farm like my granddad did and he got much better growth than this petroleum based crap they push on us(nitrogen booster, normally you'd use highly toxic ammonium nitrate). Every use for it seems to be better than what we use now! From biofuel, to cellulose plastics, to clothes. It would stop deforestation for paper, and some say the seeds could end world hunger. So whatever, drug my ass, it's more of a raw material.
If while in his youth Obama had been busted with a frigging joint, he'd never been able to go to college or become much of anything that could survive the associated stigma. Enough said! Change the frigging law dammit!
@southwick331 This is such a good point. A lot of people say that they aren't voting for him because he is so old! Im just like, the older, the wiser. right?
all this talk cuz of plant older then humans? AHAHAHAH TALK TALK TALK!!! FUCK YOU ! NO WONDER PEOPLE GO CRAZY!!!!!! ITS EASY TO TALK WHEN YOU RICH ON TV! FUCK OFF YOU FUCKING RICH FAGS!!!!! RON PAUL!!!!!!!!!!!
"...thats just a fact I dont care about the debate", what I say is true what everyone else says is false blah blah. No Stephen it isnt a fact, most people who use marijuana do not go on to use harder drugs, only a very small proportion do, and only a very small proportion of those go on to use harder drugs habitually. Why is an actor's point of view on anything (other than acting) ever important? Theyre not experts, they probably know less about the subject than the average person.
McKenzie Allen is only saying that he wants to give up because the Government can't control drugs. I'll tell you how to control drugs. Make the consequence much worse than it is and make every dealer terrified to do it. Giving into them and legalizing it wont fix anything it will only make it worse. Consequence is power.
@BornBW Terrify and throw people in jail for years and years for nothing but smoking, relaxing and enjoying life?? The majority of our jail space is taken up by peope who have done nothing to other people and caused no harm to anyone. We need to legalize it empty our jails of the nonviolent criminals and terrify thos murderers and theifs. In my city the average time for a person who murders is 15 years.. because they cant fit them anywhere. Now please tell me how legalizing wont fix anything????
lol @ all the people who puff cigarettes or drink alcohol and claim to be against drugs. just because your drugs have bar-codes doesn't mean you aren't a total hypocrite
"We have to think of drugs as a public health problem" Are you fucking serious? Barack, marijuana helps people when it comes to health problems. And you have started to take that away from people. Shutting down public marijuana shops, arresting people helping them out. Seriously, I thought that voting for you would have been a good idea, I guess not. RON PAUL 2012!
@IAmMW3God Do you know that Christianity is correct? The world around us reveals that G-d DOES exist, and the historical evidence reveals that Jesus Christ really did come to this earth and there is overwhelming evidence that Jesus Christ really did physically rise from the dead. Jesus is coming again and the signs of the end times that were foretold in the Bible are coming to pass.
get him out of the white house put ron paul in leagelize marijuana make money allow more people to have jobs and deport the imagrants out so they cant take anymore jobs
If marijuana was legal, it would be free. do the math: if 100,000,000 people spend 50 dollars per week x 52 weeks per year = 5,000,000,000,000 ? (calculater too small) out of our economy. not counting money spent on court costs, fines, lawyers. " the war on drugs"......how much is that costing us?
feeds your beasts of warmongers and goon squad terrorists on God's green healing herb and innocent Hemp tree Obama - its such a funny joke to invade our homes and gardens and americans sacred freedom and god given natural medicine and textile our forefathers loved and cherished -Idiots and liars thrive - safer than tylenol, superior to foreign oil and proven by science to destroy cancer cells, oh but truth is lost on these inhumane idiots
OBAMA IS LOVED AROUND THE WORLD. If Ron Paul gets into power the world will go back to laughing at America <-- especially Sweden... fact :P
I mean, that Obama wanted to do ever since he became president have not gone through so much for all these damn politicians and other crap has said no to the "proposals" -.-
Let Ron Paul be president so you will see that he will just sit there with politicians and do nothing, I think it will get worse if he "controls" <________<
LOL @ the start of the video Stephen Baldwin has his trollface on and hes firm in his stance.....By the end he starts to nod his head in agreement with Dr. Ron Paul LOL
Common Sense is a motherfucker! Blows your mind huh Stephen?
So everybody is going to vote for a candidate who says one thing just for election and if he does get elected president, he goes against his word and keeps it illigal due to presssure from outside entities.. wow
@disneyboi21 lol i feel ya.....BUT, ron paul has BEEN saying this since 1982 and he hasnt changed his stance....... in the dictionary thats defined as; integrity! something few politicians have. obama had 4 years of exp in politics before becomming prez and he flip flopped the whole time and sold out to lobbyists......check ron's record its consistant year after year after year.....
let me tell you a story. i got caught with 2 grams of weed. the court made me lose my license for 6 moths, call and report every FUCKING day, drug test with an old man holding my dick 2 times a month, go to outpatient rehab, get counciling, pay 1000 dollars, lose financial aid for college, go to scared straight programs, skip school for court activities, and they still treat me like a crack addict or something. im utterly disgusted with authority.
Ron Paul the only canadite for freedom all others are manipulators they say whatever they think people want to hear. And who cares what Alex baldwin thinks. Let's here what former drug users have to say about marijuana
yeah first off everybody i know who smokes weed says its much much much easier to drive on weed than alcohol and Ron paul is right i'm a 15 year old and i got caught with 1 gram of weed and now i'm fucked for life just because i was trying to have a little fun also i'm scared to drink alcohol because you can overdose on it and it makes you do terrible things and is claiming lives as i type this, and again im fucked for one gram of weed and to me that is cruel and unusual punishment
This is one of many reasons why I no longer support Democrat or Republicans They have too much power that gives them a chance to conspire, then they hide their one wrong with two rights. Ron Paul is an exception for me because he is generally third party, but in the future I'm going to register as Independent, and no amount of fancy rhetoric from the Republicans or Democrats will change my mind.
You have to take Obamas words quite literally. He uses the words "I Think" and "Utter". He never said," Without a doubt, the war on drugs is a total failure", but the way he structured the speech made you believe he wants to end the drug war.
the only reason that the marijuana is a gate way drug is because it is illegal!!!!!!!!! think about it if it was legal where would you get the other drugs??? that is why it was a gateway drug for me is because the guy that sold me the weed was out of weed but you know what he had speed.. fuck if i cant get stond and get the munchies why not try something else... bottom line the only reason that marijuana is a gateway drug is because the only place to get it supplies other drugs!!! think about it
your "public health problem" is terrorism on our citizens and a God' given HERB - you idiot! are the prison lobbyists filling your fat ass pockets too Obama? ~ take your tyranny and shove it- and fuck you too alex baldwin - jerks
notice what that Baldwin guy says: 'He doesn't care what anyone says...marijuana leads to worse things...it's a "fact"'. From personal experience, the only thing marijuana has ever lead me to was either the couch or the fridge. I have yet to try anything beyond marijuana. If anything, we should restrict the use of alcohol and make the use of marijuana legal. Alcohol kills more people every year than marijuana...PROVEN FACT.
fuck balwin!

@thereinliestherib in juarez thousands die yearly in drug wars, it has nothing to do with weed being dangerous (which is a myth), its all because its illegal. making something illegal doesnt make it go away, it just means criminals are gonna make money off of it, in mexico the drug lords are more powerful than the goverment cuz of the stupid laws, they grow dope and sell it to us, and they buy their guns froim us and sell them back hme, LEGALIZATION PUTS THEM OUT OF BUISNESS, do some research
colum4469 6 days ago
@colum4469 "Its all because its illegal"
No you idiot. Its because you keep pumping your welfare dollars into marijuana, which composes over 70% of the drug trade. You can't win a drug war when your country is full of dopers who fund the other side. The claim that legalization will "put the cartels out of business" is totally false, sophomore level economic reasoning. The cartels should DESIRE legalization for the increased demand and prices it will create.

You'd get about halfway.
thereinliestherib 5 days ago
@Jiggleton And why should I, as a HC consumer, have to pay for others recreational use of MJ?? I have nothing against ACTUAL medicinal MJ, but everyone and their friggin grandma knows its a farce for recreational users.
thereinliestherib 6 days ago
@thereinliestherib PAY for? What do you mean by that?
DarkLionInteractive 6 days ago
@thereinliestherib I think that if a legal marijuana system is established and the illegal trade is still banned, marijuana will eventually occupy a position in the economy similar to that of alcohol.... and what's the harm in that?
DarkLionInteractive 6 days ago
@DarkLionInteractive Believe it or not, I don't think MJ by itself is extremely harmful, at least compared with the likes of alcohol (which does, however, equate it with the same quantity of problems). But the fact is, the MJ trade doesn't occur in a vacuum, and the premises set up to justify legalization are baseless and downright false. Legalization will increase demand while increasing prices--what else can then happen, but an invigoration of illicit markets/violence???
thereinliestherib 6 days ago
@thereinliestherib How would it increase prices or demand increase. Over 50% of the general populace supports legalization? Represent us and our change of beliefs, not a set of laws put out for all the wrong reasons. An ounce of Marijuana can be grown for about $20 - $50. Street price is $320-$400 near me.
U83R8UDDH4 5 days ago
@U83R8UDDH4 That stat is complete BS, and reflects Americans' lack of self-respect and willingness to follow pop-cult trends. Only a minority of Americans smoke pot, so the stat itself is questionable, to say the least. Across the board, history shows that legalization increases demand. I don't find it all surprising that during an economic crisis precipitated by unaccountable personal behavior, we have such large numbers of Americans asking for yet less personal accountability.
thereinliestherib 5 days ago
Please, you seem so full of ignorance. Google American marijuana legalization support and it will come up with sources directing that the general public is in more support in marijuana legalization than prohinition. Approximately 41 percent of americans have smoked cannabis. That is no small number. Show me how legalization has increased the demand? If prohibition does not stop the use or even stem the nonetheless increased use over 40 years and costing billions. This is a failure
U83R8UDDH4 2 days ago
@U83R8UDDH4 Majoritarianism proves nothing about the purely hypothetical claims made about MJ. And frankly, the support stat doesn't at all surprise me, because most Americans lack much self-esteem, and have been conditioned into this drug cult of MJ, even though few people actually smoke it. Personally, that's what I find weird--that few smoke, yet many support. Kind of makes those who don't look like idiotic followers.
thereinliestherib 2 days ago
@thereinliestherib It proves that the government is not a true representative government of the people, and shows that washington is almost completely separated from peoples' beliefs. Most Americans lack self esteem? What does this have to do with cannabis? back up why you support prohibition with some facts. Prohibition does not, has not, and will never work
U83R8UDDH4 2 days ago 3
@U83R8UDDH4 Low-selfesteem = drug abuse. You want me to back up my claims abotu prohibition, and its quite simple. Your dollars directly fund a drug war that has claimed the lives of over 50k people. The burden of evidence is on the legalization crowd to prove how, by some counterfactual economic magic, legalization (which means both higher costs and demand) will not simply either enhance or entrench the illicit market. The claims are YOURS, and thus the BURDEN OF EVIDENCE.
thereinliestherib 1 day ago
@thereinliestherib Drug abuse can be a symptom, but what do you define as abuse? The black market would not exist if prohibition didnt exist. Therefore as say someone wanting a drink during prohibition. It didnt stop the demand, so supply will be provided by criminals, price will increase as lack of supply. Legalization would bring production on a vast commercial scale, driving supply up meeting with demand, driving prices down. basic economics.
U83R8UDDH4 1 day ago
@U83R8UDDH4 "The black market would not exist if prohibition didnt exist."
DATA PLEASE. Why do so many people insist on believing in made-up fantasies? If you provide the data, I'll be compelled to believe what you say is true--why is this not the standard anymore?
thereinliestherib 1 day ago
@thereinliestherib Simple look into the past. What made Al Capone so rich? Prohibition of alcohol. What is making The Zetas so well funded? The prohibition of Marijuana. Prohibition of the growing of cannabis makes less supply, and drives up prices as the demand for the product exists. Guess who then creates the supply, and thus gets the wealth?. Do I have to pull up charts on the supply/demand of hemp pre-1930' as compared to prohibition thereafter? I thought that this was common sense
U83R8UDDH4 19 hours ago
@U83R8UDDH4 What is making the Zetas so well-funded is because YOU KEEP GIVING THEM YOUR MONEY. Its amazing how incapable the legalization crowd is of admitting this, even when their own arguments imply its reality. It's pretty hard to "win" a drug war when people like you fund the opposition. And please, show me how legalization will cause any of it to go away--be a big boy and provide quantitative facts, not hypothetical, counter-economic BS.
thereinliestherib 6 hours ago
@thereinliestherib BUT IT WOULD NOT OCCUR IF CANNABIS WERE NEVER MADE ILLEGAL! I CAN USE ALL CAPS TOO. That aside our money woulkd be going to the farmers and american businesses if it had not been made illegal. Cannabis should never had been prohibited( I dare you to give me legitimate reasons), with many of the claims made by the government and proven false. Prohibition shifted what our money went to. That is not hypothetical bullshit. That is quantitative fact proven by history!
U83R8UDDH4 4 hours ago
@thereinliestherib oh shut up. if you honestly believe that crap, why dont we ban alcohol and all those things that are PROVEN to impair the mind?
Funabdul 6 days ago
@Funabdul Are you serious? You just drew an equivalence which only forwards the point that pot should be restricted, just as alcohol. If you acknowledge the costs of alcohol, then you acknowledge those of pot. And if you're trying to imply that pot isn't as "impairing" (much moreso) than alcohol, then you are high.

Ron Paul can and will win IF we all get behind him and give it our all. One man can't do it alone. This is our fight, our cause, our future. The Founding Fathers pledged "our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor". It will take nothing less today.
Give something. Do something. Then repeat.
