When you mentioned cause and effect, it reminded me of this discussion I had with my cousin. He's in no way religious, yet he told me he believed in Karma(after sharing with me a story in which he found 20 dollars, gave it to the person who lost it, and he found another 20 dollars that day). I explained to him that Karma could mostly be explained with cause and effect. I gave him some example s of someone doing something considered to be good, lets say return a wallet to someone(I'll continue)..
(continued).. lets say return a wallet to someone. That owner of the wallet might feel inclined to give you a dollar or something for doing so. And the rest of the day you feel good about yourself.
Now lets say you do something bad. (on an extreme level) let's say someone commits murder. They would eventually be caught and sent to jail for the rest of their life. Feeling guilty themselves.
Do something considered good, or moral, you get rewarded, in mind or otherwise. Do the opposite.. yep.
In addendum, I forgot to mention that what about all of the other people in the world that found a 20 dollar bill on the ground and gave it to the person that may have dropped it.
And those people weren't rewarded, or they simply didn't find another 20 bill.
That would just be normal, and Karma, or cause and effect just didn't take place here.
And that happens often.
So picking out one instance and saying, well it must be true because it happened, remember how many times it -didn't- happen.
agreed. and besides the fact it might have an effect on you this comment sucks because leads to nothing

what about stealing from someone immoral. an atom bomb from a terrorist for example.
i think there is exceptions to all rules except one. do what created the greatest amount of positive emotion while upholding the ideals of equity.

Exactly man. the only way karma can exist is if we apply it.

Hey do what you want, but don't do it around me.
Idleness and dissipation breed apathy.
I sit on my ass all goddamn day,
A misanthropic anthropoid with nothing to
Say what you must, do all you can,
Break all the fucking rules and
Go to Hell with Superman and
Die like a champion, yeah hey!
Classic, I just had it on in the car, then saw your video title.. weird.
