absolutely riveting! beautifully and powerfully sung! moments like these fill the hearts of the singers for the rest of their lives. thank you for being their teacher.
@0JVonte9 As specified in this video, I do hope you're aware this video was filmed over ten years ago. These people are grown with children, families, and careers of their own, now; so your comment is kind of moot. But the remark is appreciated, nonetheless.
@XtremeMind84 Yea... I can see that... Somehow the Lord blessed me with Good sense and Vision... 20/20 if I do say so myself... If the suggestions were executed in this 10-15 year old vid, in which they did use these suggested techniques at that time, it would've been 10 times better.. ijs and you're very welcome.
@0JVonte9 Then I'm scratching my head trying to find the relevance in your comment. It would be tantamount to me critiquing Michael Jackson's "Thriller," and mentioning what they could do to make live versions 'better' and the guy is dead and the song is 30 years old. You see the fail in that?
BTW, ever heard of Linda Hall or Samuel Bonds? They are two of the most highly decorated choral directors, in the nation (Google them). This choir was rated 'Superior' by both, for this performance.
@Patick478 Yes, I was fortunate to meet Mr. Hogan back in 2000. He came to my area to work with our All-County Honors Chorus. We were doing his song, "My Souls Been Anchored in the Lord". He was very impressed. He signed a copy of his song for me. I still have it. I'm still upset that he passed away.
