I`m on the NMW, and I have an additional expense of £20 per week in getting to work. Can I claim that back from HM Revenue ? Guess what....

650 MP`s claimed £94,000,000 in expenses, 2008/9. That`s £2800 per week/ £11,200 per month EACH. Half a million people in the UK don`t earn £11,200 in a year. And these fuckers are claiming that in expenses PER MONTH ?

On the other hand though, you've got junkies claiming benefits, mothers who make a career out of getting up the duff soas to get as much benefit as poss, people that think its their god given right to get benefit for doing nothing. Even though some of the things Mrs. Beckett did were horrid, I'm sort of glad to see that she isn't bending to the pressure of the audience and isn't pandering to them, telling them what they want to hear but what she thinks they need to hear. It may have been bad what she did with her expenses, but she is standing by what she thinks is the right answer and there is nothing wrong with trying to prove your position on the matter.
