Marriage is a practice within a set religious institution or faith. Civil Unions and such should be Ok. The government cannot and should not be able to modify peoples acceptance of a sexual practice as a basis for marriage. Using the law to allow sexual practice to modify traditions of religious institutions, is just blatant disrespect for a moral core, and a lack of respect for a religious tradition. Gay people should be happy but it doesn't mean we have to modify the world for them.
