Quetzalcoatl wasn't a freaking prophet he was the mesoamerican god of the sun, light, knowledge, and life. Not a guy, he "was" a giant flying serpent and I swear if I hear he was a prophet again I promise I will hunt you down and beat you like a rented mule you catch my drift?

@GeneralManasury Actually he was a prophet. He is the Biblical prophet known as Enoch whom was taken up to heaven by God and turned into an angel who then went on to become the god of various cultures. Thoth of Egypt and Quetzalcoatl to Mayans. He was an actual person and the "mythology" is hardly myths at all, they are real stories just interpreted strangely. Also, the Gods of just most ancient cultures were also real people, from the Norse Gods to Greek to Egyptian and even Mayan.

@GeneralManasury Your ignorance is showing. The name Quetzalcoatl actually refers to at least two different things. One was a god as you've stated, although not of the sun. The other was Topiltzin Ce Acatl Quetzalcoatl (Our Dear Prince, One Reed Quetzalcoatl) the legendary priest-king of the Toltec city of Tollan. According to legend, Topiltzin Quetzalcoatl reformed the Toltec's religion and outlawed human sacrifice. It is this Quetzalcoatl who is sometimes referred to as a prophet.

@GeneralManasury Quetzalcoatl took on the form of a man in part as well, as can be seen also in the ancient depictions of him. He was indeed fortold as a prophet, and savior in this form, just like the jesus that would later be compiled in part from him.

oh for christ's sake. Stop acting like you know what jesus did. There were no records, videocameras, or any reliable records from 2000 years ago. The story of Jesus is a composite character. Many people all over the globe were doing the things attibuted to The Christ. The Power squashed the amazing times by creating a religion out of the so-called Jesus. if having long hair was a disgrace in those days, Jesus probably did it merely to demonstrate that the laws of man are not the laws of God. I doubt his hair meant so much to him that he wore a sacrificial heart upon his breast, as you indicate; "my kingdom is not of this world." ironically, I just decided to chop my long hair off, an hour ago. sorry about the detour, great video.

I always here different calculations about the end of the long count, why can't everyone agree? I've heard 60's, now eighties. If 80's, what did we decide in the past 26 years? Or is that what ends, the 26 yrs, in 2012?

Yes,the 26yrs began in 1988 & ends on 2012.
The 26yrs represent a summation of both the last 2,600yrs cycle[though its actually under that]& the last 26,000yrs[& some believe even greater cycles on top of that].
That is why its not 2012 that decides our fate but the 26yrs leading up to it,for in these yrs we decide on mass what direction we head in,based on all that life experience.I'm personally going for our Quantum Leap Forward,which is what was told to me when 1st told of the Long Count.
