  • i have never seen a lost Indian in the Bankhead...........

  • @rongenman , I have been confused but never lost

  • I don't dispute what you say, but that tree isn't more than 50 years old. It is likely more like 30 years old. Definitely not a 100+ year old tree.

  • the best part about history is digging it up and understanding. If none had ever found artifacts then i suspose we could trick ourselves into believing indians never existed in these parts. Thats how we believe..in our tribe..peace

  • As with all Native American Places I sincerely hope you and Others arent out there digging up and defiling these places ! a BOUNDARY is placed so that passers by will show RESPECT you shouldnt be telling people where these places are unless they are protected I am sick and tired of hearing about how people are just going in and digging up our sacreds that are meant to be LEFT ALONE...I am going to report this page to AIM.

  • @stormfeather1 what is AIM? did they take the place of the park rangers and game wardens?

  • It is in North West Alabama, near Hartselle.

  • what part of alabama is that?

  • I have one of these in my yard and wonder if they are really native american trail trees. I have a book on them and I know that some say they are real , while others say not.

Let me know if you have a good answer. Thank's

  • @mtntopcowgirl is your house on a burial ground?
