I have a lousy luck with Toshiba, I bought their High Def DVD and we all know about that. I want to buy a new 55 inch flat screen. If not Sony then what?
if size is what you want, I'd skip Tvs altogether and go straight to a projector. Theres a cool projector from Optoma called the HD20 for like a thousand bucks, its 1080p too. good reviews and youtube videos on it even. Get a good screen though, screens are important, i dont know which screens are better though.
Yes, since Toshiba returned the TV the problem with the line have gotten worse. However, they did a firmware upgrade and that seems to have gotten rid of some of the sound issues. The mai problem seems to be that Toshiba does not have qualified service in most areas. Alex audio video clearly had no idea of what they were doing.
I bought this television and it has been nothing but problems. The sound is horrible and there is a 1.5" vertical discoloration on the screen from top to bottom. Toshiba's local repair shop in Minneapolis ( Alex audio video ) has had it for going on three weeks and has no idea if or when it can be repaired. I am told it can take up to four months. To add insult to injury, the people at Toshiba are belligerent and unsympathetic.
no big deal ,,toss it in the scrap ,then buy a different brand (NOT SONY) i bought 3 of there 300 s blu ray and all 3 were junk .they read no disc ,with in 1 month.stay clear of there tv,s 2 there crap.
What a great clean looking setup! How is the polk CS1 and PSW505 doing for you? I am considering getting them for my setup.

They are decent. For the tight budgeted they are good. Funny I was going to get those but found the 60s for cheap.
