that's not flicker. Thats how it looks when it is captured with a camera. You can solve that if the OP set the correct Exposure Value for Panasonic instead for Samsung.
Yea LCD sucks, plasma's so much better it's not ever funny. I had 2 LCD's, a Sony and a Samsung, both had horrible motion and bad blacks. I now have a Panasonic 42G10 and could not be more happy

I was blown away by the picture quality of the G10. Saw it for the first time in person last week at Best Buy.
