This is television at it's best. Television will take a subject and run with it. Even the History channel. If it gets them ratings they will show it. It is not hard to write a script and pay some "experts" to read it. How do we know these "experts" are not just actors? The radio broadcast of The War of the Worlds is a perfect example of how quick humans will believe a hoax.

At 8:02 the narrator mentions the ship number claimed by that Carlos guy to be DE173... its not, its DE163. Facts are in error and someone did not do their homework, look at the video and you will see the number on that ship "DE163"! That is the number of the USS Eldridge.

In fact the first atomic bombs were tested with enlisted "witnesses" just on the horizon. The ultimate objective was to see the effects on people at different distances. I have no trouble believing the military would IMMEDIATELY test something like this on servicemen.

The guy that spread it only heard bits from bar drunk talk and he spread it the wrong way. They were referring to the magnetic balls under the ship which makes them invisible on enemy radar. This is common sense and logic.
