Amazing how much power Repin can get in the slow movement, so intense. This is the most beautiful performance of this piece I've ever heard.

Not my favorite violinist. His Vibrato is too tight. He should have a slower vibrato.

He's capable of a really lovely slow vibrato. In keeping with the nature of the piece, I think he's perfectly justified in using a fast and narrow vibrato once favored by the French.

@moldyoreo I suppose I can understand that actually. I will be honest. His recording of Brahms Double with Truls Mork is Brilliant. Although I do think it is a little fast...
