I use this combo on fights almost all the time, and it works perfectly with other characters too. But if you want to use it, you have to leave gato to the last and do not use any DM with the others characters.
He means practical combos, not some oddity that only works on one character, and even then with some other conditions that must be met. Stuff you can use in any match is what he wants.
