A great place to camp is next to the North entrance of the state park.
Ichetucknee Springs Campground 386-497-2285. You can also rent tubes, rafts, canoe's and kayaks. Kayaking and Canoeing is great in the winter. The campground has 2 large game rooms with pool tables, air hockey and other games. There is a beautiful Fireplace in the game room. They also have a family Tavern. You can sit by the pond and have your morning coffee. Their web site has the same name as the camp ground .com
My mother lives 3 miles from the head springs. It's a beautiful place, and I remember many years ago when most of the springs were relatively inaccessible.

We lived in white springs for 14 years and Ichetucknee is one of the things i miss about Florida!!!
